I've had the auto experience, I'll stick with solar.

ETA: yep, China. Never mind. Prefer sapphire as well, I always scratch mineral crystal. My latest one I scratched within the first couple of days I had it.

One of our senior attorneys said he always billed better when he and my wife were drinking, but they didn't move through the bills as quickly.

Glad to hear that cuz that's the direction I was heading. Going to do a quick boil with a couple water changes to get some salt out first. Did you do the veggies separately? I might. I wanna cook the beef with Guinness and beef broth with some spices. Afraid the veggies would look too brown if I did them in with the beef, but still might anyway.

Be careful storing knives in foam cases.

No counter to the violence claim I see.

With increasing relative humidity (RH) above 30% and close to lower limit of RH, yellow (bright orange) rust is observed as the rate of rusting is rapid, also termed as flash rusting (Yeon et al. 2000).

me too, I had one last year, but it didn't stick around because the date window was too small for me, the case was a hair small and I like the hands on my Casio better.

this conversation has me looking again, not seeing anything new in the way of a dive watch, but another has caught my eye and intrigues me...

ETA: Oh, and FYI, the Seiko listing on Amazon lists the band width as 20mm, which is pretty common on the Seikos, but pretty sure the lug width on that one is 22mm.

Date window could be annoying. I don't mind a smaller case, but that one says 43 mm anyway - that's too small? Geeze, my Tissot that I wore for a decade or more (the aforementioned auto) was either a 36 or 38.

As to your edit, Seiko's own site says 20 for lug width as well.

Then that would be a no from me as well, gotta be 22mm.

42mm is plenty big enough for me. 20mm strap isn't a deal breaker at all either. I also prefer an inconspicuous date - cyclops are a no. I'd prefer that to be a black background with a white number on that watch but it still looks really good overall.

I'm not normally a Damascus guy but the deal on this was just too good.
