Not knowing the friend’s wife…
I will state definitively that Mrs WIC would probably react like my wife.
They would find your body scattered in various dumpsters across the city.

I would absolutely provide an air tight alibi and I’d bet money that a certain pancake lawyer would defend her pro-bono.

Crank heat to 425f.
About 60 mins to get ALL wings crispy.
Internal temp hit 190 at roughly 45 mins.

Wings came from Costco pre-seasoned. Garlic seasoned party wings 5lb pack for $20.
Figured for a first attempt it wouldn’t be a painful expense if it went sideways.

They look terrific. I enjoy wings but they're stupid expensive anymore. The last few times I've just done drumsticks and seasoned them like wings. They're about 1/4 the price and you get more meat per pound anyway.

Toast some homemade sourdough rye, add ham, place under broiler, then add some nice thick chunks of cheddar, broiler again until the cheese gets extra melty, slap the other toast on top, and chow down!

It's a really good knife!

I've been using the broiler to make sandwiches in stages exactly that way a lot lately. It's really good, and saves cleaning up a pan & press.

Geez, now you have me reflecting on how much I have spent on coffee stuff over the years.

My friend in Germany has had the same Jura for 15 years. It ground to a halt while we were there. He opened it up and got it going again. Apparently he has had to do that a few times now. Mine have been the newer models with more electronics, not as easy to work on.

After he told me to do it…he might be conflicted out.

You definitely are.

When they first came over on the exchange I noticed his now wife and asked if he had any issue with me hitting on her. He said ew, nasty, you can have her. I hit on her hard, she repeatedly turned me down. She just said on this visit with them that she just wasn’t into boys at the time. Doesn’t make me feel any better. Friend connected with her a couple years after when I met them both for the first time. And here we all are almost 30 years later.

Wow, that escalated quickly. Checked in this morning and saw pictures of food and knives.

Check back in after work, and bodies are being distributed.  Never a dull moment in this thread :)
