Scale production number is under the stand off.
Blade should have it on the side you have shown?

Not even on the tang? The ones I've disassembled have all at least had that, though I honestly didn't bother digging the cards out to check if they matched.

I bought it second hand off reddit, but I bought it because of the COA.
If the COA has a different SN than the blade, and a 3rd completely different SN on the scale
How doI know I have an actual Shiro?
There is no actual authenticity to the knife?

Thoughts?

ETA - Seller states he had no idea and I'm inclined to believe him. States he never took the knife apart, and did not know where the serial numbers were located.
He has a good "karma" score over on reddit and has sold other good knives in the past.
However what he sold was a knife with COA that is worthless, whether or not he knew that at the time and the COA is a big part of the brand.
I can tell you my Stellar has matching numbers on the scales but the blade number is not the same.

Purchased new, so no funny business involved.

Thank you, but it was the least I could do.
He was being a stand up guy and refunded money he did not really want to.
When I learned the knife was exactly as advertised I was obligated to give him his money back.
I honestly figured I ruined his day yesterday since we both thought he'd been taken advantage of by someone else...$50 seemed a fair price to pay for unintentionally instigating that on his end.

This is a valid conclusion.

The absolute worst Mexican food I've had was in the Carolinas, however, the second worst was at this place in Mr Sig's locale: https://www.casavallarta.us/. The salsa was dumped out of a bulk bottle from Walmart and a gallon of water was added to it. The chips were the shitty rectangle tortilla chips from Walmart too. So bad.

There was a chain here in the St Louis area named Casa Gallardo.
It sounds similar to what you experienced at Casa Vallarta.

My friend’s mom used to pronounce it “Kay-sa Gu Lard-o”.

We’re just giving you a hard time.

I’m happy that you can eat food that makes you happy and doesn’t mess you up.

According to Tom, the numbers on the blade and scale are production numbers and not serial numbers, so they will not match.

I had originally purchased the knife for $450, seller refunded me $200.
I immediately refunded him the $200 and added $50 to the "refunded-refund" for his time and trouble.
Then I contacted him and explained what had happened.

He seems much happier now, and I am as well.
