We went to the farewell party for the German students tonight and one of the German girls was wearing a denim skirt that said Ed Hardy in big letters across it.

First time I have ever seen clothing you guys have referenced in the wild.

I would also note that Germany is typically 10-20 years behind us fashion wise

The exchange students are going back already? I thought they stayed for the entire year.

Just a few weeks for this group. They traveled for a week in the US and Canada for a week prior to being here as well.

Good Morning gents.

Twenty-three years ago today, nearly 3000 Americans were murdered in the worst terrorist attack in our country's history.  Their only "crime" was being Americans.

As that date fades further and further in the rearview mirror of history, remember the terrorists who did this and all of the lives lost that day.

NEVER FORGIVE, NEVER FORGET

Sorry but no knife on this one.

I'll be 65 next month, you "Have to" apply 3 months before, or before 3 months after your birthday or you pay extra.
I am still working, and have not applied for Social Security yet, but that could change.

When I got the card it was a "I'm getting old" moment.

Yes. Getting the card is a good indication of getting up there.
Luckily now that I'm on Medicare as primary and my state retirement healthcare as secondary I barely have to pay anything now.

Remembering 9-11 always!

If you had to choose between the Omelet with Ham MRE or the Meatloaf omelet, which would it be?

I'm really not sure how people can screw up meatloaf bad enough to scar someone who likes meat to reject it for life, but they do. Any reasonably properly prepared meatloaf is delicious comfort food, and we make really good ones.

As ingredients go, meatloaf sounds good. It's basically a big burger loaf. But when cooked, it looks like a bloody turd.

first of all...White Castle is fookin nasty.
Period.
Their fries are decent, but thats it.
Waffle House is better in every respect compared to White Castle, so don't put that evil on me.

Regarding Maggie's....It's the Midwest.
87 lbs of fries is a thing.

No idea on the 10 pm thing, it's likely a personal rule as it's not a city ordinance.
That's not an area with alot of kids running amok.
