But it is SO worth getting into a running gunbattle for. Not only is it better that CFA (not that CFA is trash) but it is cheaper as well. And it's certainly the best chicken sandwich on Sundays. |

If it is better edge retention, is it because the Bos process for 420HC takes it to a higher hardness at the cost of toughness, and standard HT values toughness more? This metallurgy stuff is intriguing. |

And the A100s are single edge and swedged. Wondering about the grind on the Kwaiback. Looks to be flat, but looking to confirm. |

They,(or the delivery truck drivers), keep leaving the door open in the middle of the night. This sets off the alarm, which brings us. After having searched that building several times to ensure their really wasnt a burglary, I can tell you I will not ever be eating there. I dont give a FUCK how good that sammich is. Things to ponder: Why does Popeye’s have a basement? Why does Popeye’s have a large multiroom basement. Why does Popeye’s have a large multiroom basement with stainless steel steps, tiled walls, and floor drains when the walk in freezers are upstairs? All it’s really missing are wall shackles and you’ve got a text book Cartel torture chamber. I’m not even joking. What is in the grease they use to cook with that causes it to coat everything (walls, ceilings, floors, etc), and makes it impervious to soap or any form of degreaser/cleaning agent known to man? Why does corporate allow management to hire convicted felons, with mental illnesses, and known to have violent tendencies as managers and general staff positions.? Why are both corporate AND management completely amazed when the convicted felons with mental illnesses, and violent tendencies become violent & crazy at work? But mostly the basement...that’s the creepiest part of Popeye’s. The basement. |

While there was a certain pungency when we opened the garage door this morning, certainly not as bad as it had been. I am thinking perhaps the stones were too full from their previous work, so I gave them a good scrubbing. At times it felt like they were skating on the blade. If I had gotten notice there were more knives available from the maker, maybe I could have tried to exchange her for a new one and avoided sharpening, but the Maker still hates me.
