I dunno. I love how it looks, but still on the fence about carrying. Not my usual blade style. If I carry it, I keep it. Still not sure if I should just sell. My credit card did verbally cry "uncle" this morning...

What Cold Steel is it?

Seems like prices in the various forums seem to be shooting up on Cold Steel as everyone speculates the new owner will kill it/make it go soft and the Lynn ones will gain value.

What's the other side of the sheath look like? I'm diggin it.

As cool as the scales look, with that glossy sheen, I bet we aren't even getting the full in person effect. Some cool coloration.

I guess I bumped something so they aren't lined up and there is a slight false perspective. They are nearly exactly the same size.

I quite like the Limousin. It has all the standard fare, grass, pepper, & toffee, but the barrel choices seem to add some character. Very smooth for a rye too. It would be a regular purchase if available around here.

He was making me the greatest Kukri’s known to man.
And it was cold AF, and we were drinking to stay warm.
Pretty sure I was petting a trash panda at one point thinking it was his shop cat.

And my Japanese is rudimentary at best now. 20 years ago I was able to be understood without too much laughing, snickering, and finger pointing. But since St Louis is such a hotbed of Japanese tourism, I’ve fallen out of practice.

The handle shows up a little darker in the photos. The coloration is very cool in person.
I'll have to get some outdoor photos and see how it shows up.

From me sending the payment to receiving the knife today, with both of us using 2 day Priority Mail , 12 days blew by.  USPS and everyone else are on their heels I guess with the volume.

This is a customized SAK from a gentleman on Bladeforums.   Nothing too grand but he slicks up the deployment of the blades and other tools and attaches custom scales he mills out of G10.  Sometimes, like this one, he uses factory metal scales.  Also, the non show side has two holes milled in to accept a variety of screwdriver/Torx/metric, etc. bits.  Neat.

Cool. I was wondering when it was landing. It's a neat piece.

I have a package coming to me from California, or at least it is supposed to be coming to me. It is currently going back and forth between Fresno and Sacramento.  The ship services are going crazy.

I've never lost a 10mm socket.

I have lost a 1/2" impact socket down a drain at my old shop, left a 5/8" deepwell in the parking lot of one of the KW dealers here.
