Carried it IWB a bit and honestly less terrible than I thought. This may become my new truck gun after being vetted.

Had a guy at league with one of these the other day.  Seems like it would be fun.  He pushed a button and the stock flung out on its own.

Yeah the Glock and Sig version have springs on the back to push it straight out.

This has a spring and bungee cord and snaps it out sideways. Feels more secure shouldered but if you’re not paying attention you WILL slap yourself in the face with it at least once.

Normally it takes people until middle age to realize that they didn’t grow up in the country they thought they did.

Many people are having that reality held in front of their face over the last months.

These words literally came out of my mouth yesterday. The world I grew up in is dead. I mourne for my kids missing out but hoping we can make it better.

That said I just figured out the Sig 365 raider will fit in a small Fanny pack, so I’ll be wearing that around town this summer :-/

Does yours actually run?

I'm on the waitlist still, but I am very hesitant to pull the trigger given all of the extremely negative reliability reviews.

Been out of town since it showed up. Plan to go this week. Seems like the majority have about 150-200 rounds then run well. I will see but I plan to run a bunch through it before trusting it.

TLDR, not really with Fiocchi.

So yesterday I bought a SCAR 15P.  7.5" bbl 5.56 with a picatinny rail where the stock/brace would go.  It was more compelling to me than the rattler.  It was on sale for $2999 at the LGS and FN has a $500 rebate on top of that, making it cheaper.  I have ordered a Jmac Customs folding arm bar and a tailhook for it.  I'm going to an an EOtech and a Surefire scout light.  It will easily fit in a standard backpack or messenger bag.  I already have an SP5K, but I wanted something in a rifle caliber.

Nice. It'd be cooler in .300 BLK with that barrel length... but it's still nice, just crazy loud.

Rifle caliber or go home for PDW. You should be getting 2400ish fps with XM193 out of that barrel. Way past the 2200fps elastic cavity limit and blowing right thought soft body armor.
If you're not defeating level II and IIIA body armor, what's the point?
I love my MPX, SP5's and etc...  but the rifle caliber pistol rides shotgun.

Kinda where I’m at. If the barrel is less than 10.3” might as well go 300BO to burn 1/2 the powder and maybe save the last couple ear follicles I have if I need to clack it off sans can and/or ear pro

I have a 7.5" ar upper that I basically never shot because it was so concussive.  A " blast can" thing on a muzzle brake made a huge difference.

I'd look into one if you aren't using a silencer.

I'll consider it.  I have several cans that will work, and I might also consider a new one for it.  That said, my use case is for a short gun that I can pull out of a bag and go to work with in an emergency.  Having a can attached already or stopping to install one doesn't really fit into that scenario.  I may change my tune after I shoot it.

The FA version of the SCAR 15P, called the SCAR - SC, is available in 300 Blackout.  Interestingly, those guns appear to be marked multi caliber.  I don't know if FN will sell you a 300 BO barrel, but this guy is willing to make you one to order:

Link

ETA:  I checked when I got home, and the 15P is marked multi as well.  If FN drops a 300 BO barrel, that would be interesting.

If your shop can get Uzi mags it's a simple mod/cut to make them work; you can download the template for the mag catch cut (pretty sure I downloaded it from the pistol caliber forum in the AR section).  Sometimes the feed lips need some tweaking but the two I have didn't.  It's probably cheaper and easier in the long run just to have a friend or family member in a free state order some new mags for you.

Also have an SP5k I intend to SBR.

I so want a DOE gun, but the mags aren't readily available at the shops I frequent outside of MD.

Some the rear needs relieved a touch as well but ime they work the best.

Flux Defense just did a restock on the Raider X (for the 320) in the last hour. I ordered a black one.  Now I need to buy the other parts to set it up.  Is it cheapest to just buy a full size 320 and then an OEM threaded barrel?

I ordered a Recover Tactical brace and will be attaching it to a Glock 35 soon.

I can’t wait to take it to the range with the 357SIG barrel. Nobody makes a PDW in that caliber, so this will have to do.

There was somebody on here who’s not anymore, I want to say GunWriter? Who made a flux Glock long barrel in 357 Sig. He wa getting great ballistics and accuracy at distance but was banned or quit hanging out with us.

I’m hopefully getting some bonus money next month and will build out my Sig 365 to make it a full time pdw. Not sure if I should get a fuse (like $700) or my buddys macro ($600). Fuse would come with 21 round mags but the macro has the nice magwell, would put that lower on my X for cold weather carry.
