Got it last night and “assembled” today.
Seems well made and finished, controls are easy, size is very small. Haven’t shot it cause I don’t have any macro mags yet. Whoops. Also going to need a threaded barrel if I want to use with my can. This is for size comparison. Rattler is an SBR and 5.5” barrel. AR is a 14.5” and feels like a long boi in comparison. Attached File Attached File Attached File |

Damn thats crazy small.
I didnt think I wanted a 365 flux but with that size comparison and the hilarious flux marketing I may reconsider…. |

Finished my Rattler in .300 Blackout last week and it’s already my favorite gun. I got it to be PDW on trips, but there is Just something about it that makes it an absolute hoot to shoot.

Stuff like the tavor is short but I’ve been shooting ARs for 2 decades and wanted to not have to think in an emergency. Ended up being a good call when there was an active shooter murdering cops on my front yard. My brain went mostly blank till I realized what happened and grabbed the rattler. I do remember thinking “man I wish my can cleared if I have to set this off indoors” but thankfully never came to that. Now I’m a fan of lots of power in small packages. These kinds of PDWs travel well in non-obvious bags which is helpful if you actually carry them. |

I have no interest in shooting myself in the ass, so I'm not getting a Sig, and Flux seems to have dropped Glock support. At least the Glock FCUs have a chance of a PDW chassis. Kharn |

I was considering building out a lower to use with the conversion kit so the rattler upper would have a dedicated home. Then I found this video about running a cmmg .22 conversion kit in a 5.56 rattler. 5.56 Sig Rattler Converted to .22LR So I bought a full 5.56 rattler. Will sbr the lower so I can use either the rattler stuff or virtus stuff on either, but i will be shooting the .22 conversion rattler in Steel Challenge later this summer. I’m a firm believer that practice>gear and the idea of getting to practice with the rattler at 22 ammo costs instead of 300blk costs appeals greatly. Plus I already hit A class in PPCI in steel challenge using a stock iron sight MP5 clone so I’d love to push A or better with a .22 rattler just for the hell of it. |

If I am going to carry something off-body, it's going to be my rattler. Otherwise I'm EDCing.
The Flux p365 intrigues me as it's small enough I could conceal it on-body and it's something small, light, and stable enough my wife could even get hits with given she has SI joint, knee, and hand strength issues that makes managing recoil on pistols painful for her and makes supporting heavier rifles also painful for her. |
