Mixon is getting older and isn't quite the running back he used to be. But he's still an improvement over last year's RB roster, and should help keep defenses honest, which should open up the passing game even more. |

Mock drafts are fine just to gauge what randos are doing. You win the league during the season, not the draft imho. That’s why faab is so awesome. Example my 14 team work league of 10 years loves their QBs. So while they chase QB, I stack everything else. That’s why I win most years. |

Draft and season start not very far away . Thread has slowed down alot. Anyone got any secret info that they're keeping close to the vest ? I've been staying away from the Texans receivers because who knows how that is gonna shake out . Dalvin Cook signing with Cowboys is another question mark on Zeke . Any info shared will not be used in our FFL .

Can I get some feedback?
Never played FF before. Entered into a league and we did our draft Sunday. Just basically went head first learning as I went picking the brains of people in my league before it started. Think I screwed up on my WR core. Playing full PPR I believe. I could have had Jefferson or Lamb but I wasn't hot on Vikings QB situation and Lambs contract situation gave me a pause. Of course everyone right behind me took Jefferson and Lamb. My daughters boyfriend offered me Godwin for Mixon but I think he's just trying to take advantage of me hahah. You'll probably end up swapping out Harris for Odunze later in the season. I was actually surprised Odunze was still there but I have no idea what I'm doing. There were people there with folders/binders full of info they were looking at during the draft. Most of them play in 3-5 leagues. I had no idea how serious people took this shit.

It's serious business for some. I played one season in a league with some very skilled fantasy managers. Frankly, I was "way out of my league." The commssioner of that league had won a $10,000 championship the year before, and the other players knew way more about making successful waiver moves than I did. And like Spidey says, the league can be won or lost depending on how savvy you are with blind bidding. In another league I've been a part of for 20 years, with mostly the same group of guys, one of them has notoriously poor drafts. He spends a lot of (real) money rebuilding his team, and ends up 'almost' making the playoffs. I call him "The $6 million Man." Thanks partly to him, our total payout last year was $4,000. I finished 2nd and only got $800 because of an incredibly stupid trade I made in Week 9. Trades can be good. Or they can cost you a lot of money.

This league is skill based. That’s why faab, that’s why no dedicated TE slot. If you want to mock do thirds. 1-4, 5-8, etc. you win draft in rnd 4-7. You win league in faab. |

Legitimately a record is more impressive than a championship win. The bottom seed won our work league last year.

Injuries play a large part also . Im hurting in my MLB leagues currently .NBA gets bad also |

Not draft. This is a skill league. Faab. No dedicated TE. So you lose cmc week 1. You can make up those points at other positions. |

Draft almost here! Some tips.
Read and understand scoring and settings for the league! This is critical and number 1 rule of fantasy. Most of you know this but more for the new league members. This league is FAAB, understand it. Understand how to manage your faab budget. Test your system before draft time, run a few mock drafts. You’ll know your position 30 minutes before draft, it’s random. There is NO dedicated. TE slot. Dedicated TE slots suck. I approve trades. There is no voting. I will approve just about any trade. I’m not here to decide if it’s fair, that’s the trade partners job. The only ones I deny are obvious collusion or somebody dumping their team No fucking league drama. Have fun. You’re playing with quality fantasy guys Pmag goes to winner. Its honor system so each team is responsible for sending it to winner. From the mocks I’ve done I almost want to be 7-10 range. This is full ppr. I don’t want to be 1-4. @eracer is defending champ. So make sure you snag the player he wants if your in front of him.
