Looks like a nice school in a nice area. I'm betting crazy kid that everyone knew about, but nobody dared mention.
There is a large bolus of kids, who's formative years occurred during the lockdowns, that are now coming of age. The social isolation of the digital age mixed with the lockdown experience right during what should have been peak social development years is going to pay terrible dividends. The crazy is going to get a lot worse before it gets better. |

Very tightly controlled. Can’t shoot or stab people easily when the government has a stick up YOUR ass. On the plus side; generally one of the best scholastic averages worldwide. |

Suspect neutralized does not sound like “a suspect is in custody” unless you consider a body, as the object in custody.

Prayers sent to all those involved, especially the unborn.
In this day and age, with the majority of students having cell phones - it is interesting that there was an almost immediate social media lock down. In the past we would generally be getting links to at least 1 suspects feeds (as they were being shut down). Keeping kids off their phones - were the cell towers locked? So, "domestic" (relationships-not the most stable thing for many HS students), mental illness or gang violence - sounds like given what has been mentioned about the school, probably mental illness - but since no real hard details are available, who knows. |

They very rarely are seeking personal pain. They often off themselves. if the next school shooter thought they might be taken and killed hideously, over time,, they might rethink it a bit. and while torture is not generally a good idea; if it would prevent the future deaths of innocent children, I could tolerate it. |

I was in the backyard playing with my dog when I heard sirens. This is a really quiet semi-rural area.
Normally, when I do hear a siren it's a wreck at the crossroad on HWY81. I counted 20+ cars running full lights and sirens hauling balls. My heart sunk; my first thought was the HS. We have had some gang activity around here mainly from Winder. We are actually closer to Bethlehem. We have a good Sheriff department. Several deputies live in my neighborhood and their kids go there. |

If 30 are truly injured, I'd expect a spike in fatalities.
Usually 1/3 to 1/2 of casualties in these deals wind up being fatal. Hope it's not the case. |

I'd guess 90%+ of the kids know who it was by now. Surprising it has not leaked on social media.
Yeah, I'd guess half dozen of more of these before the election. Add in some malls, maybe a game or parade. |

Grady has a level 1 trauma center, any critical gun shot victims would go there. |
