No, nowadays the cool kids pay the ATF for permission to build a 5.56 NATO with the barrel so short it's pretty much a .22 magnum rimfire, but the ammo costs 12x more.

I've see one fired 500 yds.

It wasn't aimed. The phrase "I wonder how far this will go" was uttered and then it was fired high angle from the 500 yd line and impacted the backstop.

No grenade launcher lol but I like this style of AR with the front sight post and fat rail. This one is actually a colt pinned 14.5 that came with a rarer P&S Rail

Does anyone know if it’s considered NFA to mount a shotgun underbarrel like the guy on Predator and if a product like that even exists

I think KAC makes something called the master key that does that. Not sure if it's nfa- I'd assume so.

I remember the episode of that stupid sons of guns show or whatever it was where the inbred child rapist owned a gun shop and was asked to mount a shotgun on an AR. He kept going on about how it was neva dun befo. I kept yelling at the TV “motherfucker KAC has made that for years!”

I’ve been wondering lately about the possibility of mounting a shockwave on an AR since they’re pretty short.

Word. I was saddled with one just about the whole time I was in the service. It was kinda fun to shoot but a cast-iron, nose-heavy BITCH to tote around all the time.
Hell, when I was an E-1/E-2 PVT I carried an M203 AND the fucking PRC-25. That combo kicked my young ass.

What's worse was when we got the 320s they had us mount them to the M4s even though they could be used as stand alone units because "that's how we always have done it."
