State and local LE obviously on their own nets if interagency comms don’t exist (which is certainly believable). At that point, why would you not have a command post with, at minimum, liaisons and “controllers” who have the capability to monitor their own nets and relay information in a timely manner to the people who need it? Something like the modern ICS, while maybe not directly applicable, is built to deal with issues like this and ensure maximum unity of effort. Why is there apparently no C2 when dealing with something as serious as protecting a former President and Presidential candidate. This is just serious fucking incompetence for these problems to exist in the first place. |

There are a lot of different competitive youth shooting sports groups. So I have no clue which organization that HS might be using. The one I work with is most likely the most common in Texas, and possibly the most common in the US - that said, we do not focus on competition. But anyway - most of the ones I know of are not necessarily competitive team sports. Most are competitive individual sports. If you want to be part of the club, you sign up, show up, and practice. Sometimes you might have to qualify to compete at a specific tournament, or make a team for a specific tournament - but meanwhile you practice as part of the club.
Just a small second thing. Most youth shooting groups will be using target 22's (if they are not restricted to air rifles only). Anschultz yes - budget DPMS or Bushmasters, LOL... Add to that, the anti-black rifle mafia keeps evil black rifles out of most youth shooting organizations. They preach the optics look too bad. Might piss me off a bit, but if the kids are competing with AR15's, it is at adult shoots. I don't go to enough adult shoots to joke about people competing at them with budget rifles. --- Conservative Parents can still have moon bat kids. You try your best to raise them, but when their peers are hard left - you are talking to deaf ears. |
