No clue. A little disconcerting, but at this point I'm kind of assuming she will be on the meds for the rest of her days.

"Boy! That sucked."

Keep those prayers coming brothers.

This morning she jumped up to the bathroom sink for her favorite morning activity. Drinking from the faucet!

Lauren had her last trip to the vet for awhile yesterday. She is all stabilized and will be on the blood pressure meds forever.

They arent sure if her vision is 100 percent, but it doesnt seem to bother her at all. She is acting like it never happened.

She really doesnt like the pill shoved down her face twice a day but she is getting better about it.

And damn...this was expensive. Haha

Prayers answered. Glad to hear she's doing well.

My cat, who looks almost exactly like yours, is in renal failure. One possible complication is high BP, so what happened to yours is a possibility for her. Unfortunately, a trip to the vet to get it checked and monitored would require her to be gassed and knocked completely out due to her behavior. As a result, visits are extremely stressful and quite possibly fatal for her now.

One thing I can say about pilling a cat is to remain cool & calm when doing it. If you get revved up, she will sense it and do the same.

That's so great to hear!   Here's to many more great years with Lauren.

Vets are just stupid expensive, and I honestly think many of them take advantage of customers given the stakes at play.

That said, I pay retarded money to get my avatar kitty back.

Vet just called about her blood test yesterday. She has slightly elevated numbers in some kidney test they ran.

I'm hoping it's just from all the blood pressure meds and the UTI antibiotics. She will be back for another test in a month.
