I know 2 people who have been on it multiple times. Both enjoyed the experience enough to do it again. I'm sure I could survive based on their results.

This type of "competition" is something like 3% skill, 10% luck (that you don't contract some illness or suffer a debilitating accident), and 87% tolerating a shitty environment of weather conditions, and plenty of insect bites and stings. I haven't watched the show in a long time, but I tend to recall there were some pretty damn talented and skilled women that kicked ass. What this show always reminds me of is that I only need a handful of items in a small backpack with appropriate clothing and "survival" would be much, much easier... ROCK6 |

Of course there is a camera crew filming the survivors and they have a camp set up nearby with sleeping tents and medic facilities.
On Season #9 Episode "Thieves In The Night": After 2 days of failure to make fire the fat Kentucky boy tapped due to dehydration leaving the women alone. Because it was less than 48 hours they brought in another man to continue the challenge with her. In his walking around searching for food he stumbled upon the camera crews camp. That night he thought it would be a good idea to sneak into their camp and steal some food and water. He got caught and they both were kicked out of the show.  |
