Detroit style is usually square pan. I just had some tonight.

Transplant is the name of the place associated with Serial Grillers in Tucson.

The pizza was thick, but had very light crispy dough. It was not as dense as Chicago deep dish that I have had.

Looks tasty, but definitely not Detroit style. Detroit is more of a focaccia with cheese baked to the edge + toppings and sauce. Usually will find sauce on top of the cheese/toppings as well.

You’re going to take some punishment for that style, but if a friend of mine made that I’d eat it and not complain. There is a place in Lansing that does a double crust layer like that, and it’s not bad (though it is a lot of bread). And for those in this thread shitting on Detroit pizza, well some people can’t be helped…
