Bad/good news: evade Spiritborn is getting a nerf ASAP per blizzard.
https://www.reddit.com/r/diablo4/s/cQzUvKFs4K The build is so good because there's a bug with Spiritborn's evade animation letting it be canceled out for repeat casts before fully completed. I stuck with Touch of Death so it doesn't impact me |

They just said that the evade was bugged is all so far. I do expect spirtborn to be nerfed in a mid season patch however. Blizzard is really bad about nerfing stuff once people have put a lot of time into something. The pits being pushed like they are, Blizzard never expected anyone to be able to go into the 150s and beyond.
Hopefully they fix the seasonal item. It’s bugged. You get zero reps in hell tide, pit, inferno horde, etc. The only way I have found to build rep is with the Realmwalkers. |
|
|
The evade is getting nerfed because the animation cancel on recast causes glitching for other classes when they are on the same screen. It's a game-breaking bug.

Loving the new Spiritborn. It just destroys everything.
When do you all decide to move up a tier? I'm in T2 Torment right now. I run pit 40 most of the time to level my glyphs. But I have gotten to pit 60 opened up. I have not run any pits beyond what it took to open up T3 Torment. I died to trash a lot and killed the boss with my final respawn. Killed all the bosses except Lilith and that's only because I cannot for the life of me avoid those stupid floating orbs. |
|
|
Move up when your resistances are at least 60% and armor at least 900 (once buffed) in the tier you want to move to and when you can comfortably kill stuff reasonably quick. Armor cap is easy to hit with spirtborn due to aspects that add armor. I think mine in like a base of 500 in T4 but once I start fighting it is well in the 1000s.
I’m comfortably in T4 now. |

The Touch of Death build on Maxroll that I've been using updated bigly overnight. It switched a skill, one glyph, one aspect, one unique, different gems, different runes, a few different skill points, and different affix and temper suggestions. They also added a Shako to the mythic version.
I updated my build this morning and am now farming Pit 65 (Torment 4) as fast as I was farming Pit 50 lol. I'm still missing an ancestral version of the helmet, but I'm hoping to replace that with a Shako anyway once I get 2 more runes that I need. |
|
|
Are mythics like super rare now? Last league I had them coming out my ears, this league 1. I have over 100 duriel/Andariel kills in T3 for nothing. My 1 and only mythic was from t2 Gregorie. Hell it even seems like I get more Multi GA items from T2 then T3. Oh and the new rogue mythic is not working, thanks blizz.
About the only thing that seems better is Legendary rune drops appears much better in t3 than t2, also much more crafting mats in t3 hordes. |
|
|
Mystics are very rare now, yes.

If is looking for a ancient Rod of Kepeleke, after not finding one till today I had two drop at the same time, both pretty nice but one was perfect, 3.0 plus the bonus on max resource. I'm definitely keeping that one.
The other one is nice too and if you need one drop a message if you see me in game and I'll give it to ya. |

The rest are between 30-40%. Still hunting for gear to go with my build but some items are a PITA to find. |

Looks like an update is getting pushed out.

Knowing that I can now swap some of the build around by converting armor to resists. I may also try a different quill volley build. The build I am using kills stuff just fine but leaves me a touch squishy. That may change after some resist shuffling. Still hunting for the stupid barbarian war cry rune too! Not sure if folks know but if you go to the purveyor and spend your obols you have a really good chance of getting uniques now. |

That is the one unique that makes this build come to life. It makes your core skill into a basic skill and no longer costs resources to cast. Otherwise, you need to keep your basic skill on the bar to build up resource for use. For a long while I used thrash to build resource then quill volley it all away. I might have a spare one or you can gamble obols on staves. You can also get the helm needed for the build by spending obols as well. You can also farm bosses for it as well. Hollar if you want to company. Ydnar in the clan, guild whatever it's called. |

Makes sense on why I couldn't figure out the skills. Lol. I may be on tonight. We will see. Appreciate the help. |

I would be happy to accept any of the legendary items to complete that build, or if someone can show me where to find them that would be awesome too. I may be on Monday night if someone would be willing to help.

A handy little glyph level tidbit:
Once your glyph hits level 93, you have a 70% chance for each subsequent upgrade, regardless of the level of the pit. So there is no point in running pit levels > 100 for glyph leveling. |

But may try to get at least one or two to 100 just to say I did. Of course, I changed my build to an overpower quill volley and had to level 3 new glyphs. Seems slightly less DPS'y but much more survivable. Just farming Grigoire for a 2 or 3 GA Ring of the Midnight Sun with 50% effect. |
