Well so much for one extremely stupid Fan theory.....and if that place at the end is where I think it is....F U Filoni.

Wasn’t expecting that ending, not least this early in the season.

Just finished - excellent ep.
Click To View Spoiler was that the world between worlds the sweaties are all worked up about? I haven’t gotten to the part in the Clone Wars where that appears (or Rebels for that matter, not sure where it debuted)
How does one access this? Do they have to die or is it just a place you can fall off a cliff from and end up there? |

A few thoughts: 1) Lol marrok theories 2) Obviously good to see the big guy again. 3) I like that they haven't retconned Rebels and aren't afraid to go back to the World between Worlds. It's how she's alive in the first place and obviously she has a link to it. Maybe this is how she gets to the other galaxy. Hell, maybe Anakin found a portal at some point during his adventures, got sucked into it, and pulled Ahsoka out of the future. 4) Meanwhile, I suspect Hera and the two remaining pilots get there via space whale. 5) I also like that they didn't retcon her combat abilities. In the past she has been shown to take down inquisitors without breaking a sweat, even unarmed. That fight was short and sweet the way it should have been. 6) Sabine you idiot 7) Best episode of the series so far. |

With her war experience and history of beating Maul, wiping the floor with inquisitors, and holding her own against Vader for quite a while, it makes sense that she should be able to beat a random fallen Jedi Knight on an equal playing field.

Sabine shot first. Also, great response to the "you have no power" line from the trailer.

Then Ashoka says “the future has now shifted”. |

A little bit better, very predictable story. Too bad Ray died, I am liking his character.
While watching the first 4 episodes, it feels like something is off and I cannot put my finger on it. |

Easily the best episode so far. In fact, probably the best SW content since Tales of the Jedi. It’s not saying much, but still…

Click To View Spoiler If Ahsoka somehow prevented Sabine from returning to Mandalor during the purge and she blames her for the death of her family, like Baylan hinted at, that would explain an awful lot.
That kind of resentment would make any interactions stilted and subdued. Just the whole walking on eggshells to prevent an explosion. |

What made this episode better was:
1. They cut most of the panning shots and the ones where people stare at eachother silently. 2. There's a little more energy in the dialogue and fight scenes. Like if the energy went from 20% to 30% it's a 50% improvement but still kinda sucks. We need to bring back the prequel like light saber duels. 3. The plot is advancing and there's no side mcguffin side quests. 4. More things make sense! But still a lot that doesn't. |

Loved the red forest setting. Beautiful, if still a clear concession to the Chinese. They should have had them jumping from tree top to tree top, but maybe that's later.
The Force has become a kitchen appliance from a 90s infomercial. It slices! It dices! It can be used for: Time travel, space travel, healing anything, cheating death. By anyone. What was once a mysterious and powerful skill is now a plot device to enable increasingly complicated stories. It may seem cumbersome and boring and perhaps explains why franchise viewership isn't where the Mouse might like. "I've got a bad feeling about this!" Yes Jacen , we know you're a Force user who will end up as Ezra's apprentice on your own 25 episode TV series. Now shut up. |
