Didn’t he say he would seal his helmet when he jumped out on Mandalore?

Originally Posted By Vaquero: Didn’t he say he would seal his helmet when he jumped out on Mandalore? View Quote Yes, and there were sound effects to match. His helmet has some limited form of life support tech in it, which follows many other scenes we've seen with Mandalorians. They occasionally fly with their Jetpacks to assault aerial vehicles at pretty high altitude and during the fight over Atalon, we saw them deploy in space onto the hull of an Interdictor. |

I wish the Mandalorian armor was actually enclosed metal power armor. Wouldn't match Boba Fett's in ESB, but dammit it would be cooler.

Well, this episode answers your all's arguments about some of the details about not removing the helmet.

I think that was the shortest episode of the series, but it was a great episode. 9/10
Click To View Spoiler . Watching Grogu train with the other foundlings was fun. Especially when they were judging him by his size and ability to speak. Reminds me of ESB with Luke judging Yoda by his size. Finally got the order 66 flashback from Grogu. It was a great couple minutes. Took me a minute to realize who the actor playin the Jedi that helped was. Glad he got to play that part. I was wondering what was going to happen to the three babies. I was surprised Bo told the Armorer about the Mythosaur and surprised the Armorer didn’t believe her.

This season is back on the right track after the missteps of the Fett series. Somebody is paying attention to the fans.
If Disney would just get the fuck out of the way and let Favreau/Filoni have total control of Star Wars, the franchise has a shot at fully redeeming itself. |

Great episode, despite how stupid the Raptor snatching plot was.
More than redeemed by the expansion on Mandalorian culture, and Grogu getting a piece of armor. I wonder how they’ll handle him learning to talk and receiving a helmet. They’ve definitely hinted at it with him almost starting to form words. |

Mandalorian
Fun episode, loved the Mando training episodes. When the dragon appeared, I was like "WTF is this kaiju planet they are living on?". Some nice reveals - some hints at a Paz Vizsla backstory, the Armorer still playing it cool, "meesa say I's is gonna be da biiiig rescuerer" - all great stuff. Even the Jurassic World reference at the end there. I was a little surprised Bo Katan gave up the Mythosaur info at the end there... Armorer just sucked her deeper into the cult. Bad Batch OMG that opener - loved it so much. Was that Captain Howzer they were saving? A solid episode all around and I like they are really starting to set up Clone Rebellion and Project Darktrooper. If only we could get Kyle Katarn brought in and maybe Boba Fett leading Imperial forces against the clones... one could hope. |

|
Loved the juxtaposition of a scared and overwhelmed Grogu being thrust into hyperspace with an older, more wrinkled version ready to kick ass and take names.
|
|
|
I'm thinking the Armorer is Paz Vizla's wife and the kid they saved is their son?

Smile, laugh and agree...then do whatever the hell you were going to do anyway.
An unloaded gun makes a crappy hammer. |
I think it's a possibility given that the Armorer and Paz seem to hang together. In season 1, did any of the other Mandalorians in the Navarro cover escape? Or were they all killed?
It's also possible that Ragnar is a founding claimed by Paz. After all, Bo Katan calls Din Grogu's dad. You figure, Bo Katan is probably late 40s or 50 at this point in the timeline. If the armorer is Rook Kast, she'd be of similar age. And that would line up with her being Ragnar's mom. If the Armorer is Ursa Wren, I don't think that math works out. |
