Why Din Grogu? Shouldn't he be Grogu Djarin? All of the other Mandalorians use their last name as the surname.

And even then, a "dead" character can be resurrected. In this case we can count on clones as we saw them in the tanks... But we didn't see him die and he was wearing a jetpack with full Beskar power armor... he could easily have jetted off as the flames enveloped him. That was likely intentionally left vague. |

Maybe his home planet uses a Chinese style naming system? I can't recall off the top of my head any scenes in the series where he was addressed or referred to with either Din or Djarin individually. |

As I understood it, Gideon was trying to create his own army, pulling from several technologies.
- Beskar armor from the Mandalorians - Powered suits from the Dark Trooper Project - Force-Sensitive clones of himself. He apparently was only successful in one prototype suit. The minions wore Beskar armor, but they weren’t powered. Not sure if they were regular clones of himself, though. |

Great episode!
My wife and I really enjoyed the finale. I think the breaking of the Dark Saber was foretelling. Once again Bo Katan "loses" the Dark Saber and I think that's because it's not the will of the Force that she be the Mandalore. I see Din or possibly Grogu as the Mandalore. I did like how Bo and Din worked together. The episode has an important unifying message that "Mandalorians are stronger together." That's something that could be applied to both the Star War fan base and the American people right now as a positive message. I think Jon and Dave do excellent work. I think that Andor is a great show. I think Bad Batch is excellent. I think there is a lot to be hopeful about regarding the direction that Star Wars is heading in. I was a little worried this season, but I'm reassured by that last episode. This is the Way. |

He had on some pretty heavy duty serious armor and there was no body recovered (he didn't just vaporize completely). I think Grogu is going to have to take him out in some kind of epic show down. Perhaps Din will ultimately be killed and Grogu will have to take out Gideon and the risk would be would he embrace the dark side to do so or could he handle the loss of Din by fighting with love in his heart rather than hate? |

Yeah he’s all about it. When Mando was vaporizing Jawas it pretty much sealed it. He wasn’t leaving his side. Lol Grogu's never been afraid to choke a bitch or mind trick one into snacks "with bones in it". Probably why he flunked out of Skywalker academy. I just realized Grogu's power move is a lot like how Kanaan went out, he's saved Din from a firestorm twice now, and he's got Ezra's signature move too. |

I know there has been discussion of Season 4. But that damn sure felt like an ending to the series...not just the season. There is hints of further adventures but nothing that requires additional story telling.
I think the Mando series just concluded. He will have roles and cameos in related shows. But his story has essentially ended....I think. |

Maybe we'll only get two seasons of Ahsoka before the movie if they plan on releasing it in '26. |

View Quote I see it differently. The breaking of the Dark Saber was symbolic. Bo Katan led the Mandalorians in battle to defeat Moff Gideon and retake Mandalor, thus becoming a true leader. She no longer needs the Dark Saber to lay that claim. Also, the Mandalorians fought over the Dark Saber for generations. This episode was about them coming together and moving beyond that past. They have accepted Bo Katan as their leader because of her actions; not because she processes a "tinket" in Moff Gideon's words. |

Lot of action and fun in the episode but added to the overall season it really does nothing but tie up some loose ends.
They could have at least added another 10-15 minutes and given use some serious space combat. |

Did anyone else expect Grogu's first words to be, "I am Grogu"? That was kid of a Groot-ish save in the caverns, wasn't it?
Is there going to be a S04 or are Favreau and Filoni moving on to the next SW chapter with Ahsoka et al? |
