How’s it compare to Velveeta?

Not the type of cheese you mix Rotel to make a dip, if that's where you are going.

I love parmesan and  asiago cheese though.
Unfortunately my ass does not.

Oh my, yes. Chess is one of my favorite foods.

A while back, Trader Joe’s had some imported Scottish cheese called Isle of Arran. It was phenomenal but I can’t find it anywhere else in the US

There was a cheese I took a chance on and bought 2 lbs of at my local mart one day. Hands down, THE BEST FUCKING CHEESE IVE EVER HAD. Went back 2 days later to buy the whole truckle and it was gone

To this day I search for it and crave its awesomeness

I'll have to try that OP.

I love most all cheeses, except goat cheeses. I milked goats growing up and I can tell goat cheese from any other cheese by smell alone.
I can taste the goat musk.

Tillamook applewood smoked cheddar.

I was fucking furious with Costco when they quit carrying it because of a pricing dispute.

Yeah they’ve only had Yancey’s chipotle Gouda in stock once in the last 2 years. It’s very tasty.

so after work on Friday I went to a Target that showed it in stock

Found it and bought 2 of the merlot wedges and 1 of a different kind.

Get over to my buddies and guess what they already have out, the same fucking cheese I just went out of my way to get!

Apparently its his favorite cheese.

Anyways, that's some really good cheese.

I don't even have words for how good it is. Seriously, it's amazing. Check it out, if you can actually find it.

OP:

I have never had that cheese but you make it sound delicious. Are there any more common cheeses that are similar? Something that’s comparable.

Thanks.

OH
MY
GOD

Local HyVee grocery store had free samples of this cheese today.  I tried a piece.  I had no idea cheese could be so good.

I searched for this thread while standing there and showed my wife.  Then had her try a sample.

My daughter said it was good, but kind of disgusting.
She is nine and a retarded genius.

Thanks for the post OP.
Without it, I would have walked past without trying a sample.
And I would still think Velveta was the best cheese.

Right after Thanksgiving Whole Foods gets in a Champagne cheddar that is my favorite cheese, so good with some Rothschild's raspberry pepper jelly.
We usually just go ahead and grab a whole wheel, and bring it to all the holiday get togethers.

My favorite cheese overall is drunken goat cheese.  It's awesome.

A good parm is always welcome in my cheese drawer.

And I now have some new cheeses to try.

The standards are standards for a reason.
Cheddar is common, but few things are better than a great cheddar.
