In a bed, I can’t sleep with my head covered. When out camping I cover my face in my sleeping bag.

Not since I moved out of the townhouse that had my room in the low 50/mid 40s in winter. Then it used to be king Johns, hat, the works.

I did, but not much now.
As a young kid I was scared of the dark, and ended up hiding under the blankets. As an adult, it was a habit, partly from childhood... but more so to block out any stray light and sounds. I think I stopped in my 40's.

I did this once in Afghanistan in Feb. With the condensation and lack of heat in tent I cannot recall ever being colder in my life. Invent a nose/ mouth cover snorkel that puts the condensation outside while keeping your head covered would be a million dollar idea. I would think it has already been done though.

Ever since I saw that werewolf movie in about 1964 yes I sleep under cover. But now that I have a cpap it’s only partial.

I did as a child. Our trailer had little insulation and an inadequate kerosine heater. We piled on quilts and pulled them over our heads so our breath could build up heat under the covers.
But I have not done it in the past 60 years.

I keep my house at 70 degrees during the winter so no need. Used to keep it at like 67 but for sick of my wife complaining she was cold. Plus then she wears short shorts or spandex around the house all year so it’s a win for me.

I have to have my nose and mouth uncovered or I feel like I am suffocating. After so many years of working night shift I do sleep with a t shirt folded and wrapped around my eyes like a blind fold though.
