Twitter is infected, top down The NarrativeTM was in such danger, that they literally created a friggin ministry of truth, and put a 30something year old millenial swamp creature party loyalist in charge of it. Whenever they get scared, they jump up so fast that the mask falls off. But, IMHO each time they have these "Revealing" reactions, it's sort of working like "poker tells". Over time, they've put out of a lot of game film, and I think the skeptics of official narratives that sound fishy, are getting very good at spotting them. As of 2022 we have a MUCH better understanding of what's going on now, and I think perhaps it's a tree that's beginning to bear fruit. I think DeSantis poking at Disney is the beginning of the right figuring out how to react/interface with the mega-corporations captured by devoutly religious woke people. (I said what I said. They're as hardline as the Amish are, only replace the hats with pink/purple hair and the beards with, well, dramatically weaker beards, on the Trans-men. ) |

Remaining loyal to the narrative is a practical impossibility. You would have to coordinate your lies with literally thousands of other people's lies.
And yet people do it. Or at least they try to do it. Reality is whatever their beloved master of choice says it is, I suppose. |

They would all get on message overnight, shout down the peons at the watercooler, bumper sticker made, off we go. Introducing debate to twitter = slowing that down, an allowing the push back to occur and form. Once an idea is allowed to exist over time, it can be critqued, and sometimes, discarded. I've been thinking about lately, a lot of the woke-memes were shouted through quickly, NOT debated and interacted with by society. There's a chance that the worst of the woke ideas collapse quickly like a cardhouse, that those positions (not arrived to via genuine concensus) are in deep shit right about now. |

The purchase contract probably has a clause that parties are able to renegotiate if there are discrepancies found during due diligence or if quarterly reports are above or below expectations. Twitter inflating numbers regarding their user base for instance would be a major problem since the company’s value is intrinsically tied to those numbers. Basically, once the deal was confirmed, most of the big investors that gobbled up Twitter stock below Musk’s $54.20 takeover price have since dumped that stock because they anticipate he will renegotiate the purchase price. Twitter is screwed no matter what. They can decline the renegotiated price but there are major problems with that. They have been caught lying about the company’s value to their shareholders and it’s been exposed. Lawsuit city. And then Musk can dump his stocks and tank the value further. |
