guns, Different subject from the shirts and art project. The last update (that I know of) on Nora was 8/24/2022 Is she still recovering - doing better? I haven't forgotten. Best wishes for the young lady.

Update 3/2
@Raffi383 THANK YOU! Raffi bought a gift card at the local ACE store for us, $100!!! Very much appreciate the support! I went down and spent all of it today, along with a little more out of my pocket for some items that students needed. Pretty practical things. The hose clamps and 3" PVC fittings are needed for the exhaust on the cowlings, and the Japanese FuGo model.  @Rocketman89408 Surprised us with a gift box yesterday.  My upperclassman in my 7th hour got the privelage of opening it up. They had a drum role.....    The contents had some smaller flexible rulers to go with the big ones @Cargo sent us last week.  And, a $50 bill!  "Responsible Gun Owner" stamp was not missed. One of my team leaders decided he needed to show off his "guns".   Great group of kids to work with, and we have a ton of fun while getting stuff done. We've noticed a large increase in the romances  that were created in the art room. There is one other couple that I didn't have a chance to get photos of. (Updated with more couples )

Update 3/2.2
Paint going on the interior of the wing flaps.  Holes cut for the exhaust from the engines.  Both floors for motor mounts are now in the cowlings.  More parts for our Dragon Egg drone dispensor.  Caulking all of the seams on the fuselage.  A seat for our pilot is underway.  Bear mount rug is going well. We are getting some nice expression on his face. Good wrinkle details.  |

207 Sold, and $2614 Raised!!!!
 4 Days remain. We had planned to have the C-130 painted and ready for partial display on the 21st of this month for the 8th grade parents orientation to electives. I know this was a bit optimistic, but thought, we can do this. We did it last year with the F-22. Last year, one of my coworkers came in and looked at the F-22 and said something like, "You brought a freaken jet???!!! We are all trying to show off our classes, and you bring a jet ?!! " It was pretty funny.  I don't need to advertise my classes. They are beyond full, and waiting lists happen every semester, but it's still fun to promote the program a bit. I wanted to do this again. Kids think we are going to struggle with that  .I looked at the calendar yesterday, and noticed a problem. Spring Break starts NEXT FRIDAY AFTERNOON(entire week of 13-17)!!!! So, we've got a week to get some paint on this thing.

Update 3/3
Frantic Friday.....one week till Spring Break...... Drone is getting many details figured out.  FuGo balloon with more details around the rings.  Blackwater Creek Memorial at Meadow Lark Lake being created.   Creating each stone to scale.  Fitting the exhausts to the cowlings.  Squaring the faces of the cowlings and making them ready for propeller shafts.   Caulking the seams.  Cleaning up the edges of the flaps, where they are warping.  Pilots seat  Pilot Scruggs  Little details here and there.  Yeah, we broke the nozzle.   Throwing some paint on today.  Community outreach! He helped us a ton during the Stagecoach build. He was here most days, as he was the SRO then.  Smoke plume with more paint. Now blue added to be reflection from the sky. Still have some darkness to add to the bottom.  And...... Students decided this was easier to work around and keep them from running into the antlers.   |
