Got an old Kawasaki 1k watt. Gen head doesn't produce power and parts are unavailable for it, but it runs great and has low hours. Any thoughts on what could be done with it?

In addition to those, I have plastic cans which seem to be doing just fine. The red jerry cans that they sell at HF I believe are the same manufacturer as wavian, but they don't have a nato opening, they use standard plastic can style. |

If you're looking for a higher-wattage portable generator, this may be the best deal going right now. $954 plus tax delivered for the same 240v/30a inverter output as the HF Predator open frame inverter generator but $250 less with a 2 year warranty vs the 90 day warranty on the HF.
Guessing it comes from the same Chinese factory as the HF Predator and it looks like the only functional difference is a smaller gas tank that I could live with (4.2 gal vs 5.9 gal) https://www.amazon.com/WEN-GN875i-Transfer-Switch-Ready-8750-Watt-Generator/dp/B08STWSWLH/ref=asc_df_B08STWSWLH/?tag=hyprod-20&linkCode=df0&hvadid=475773026601&hvpos=&hvnetw=g&hvrand=1091799324201388792&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=m&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=9007251&hvtargid=pla-1200255228604&psc=1 |

The inverter circuit in a typical inverter generator operates at considerably more than 12 volts (i.e. 48 volts) - so it wouldn't be as simple as connecting a 12 volt battery. |

Dunno what an "MFC" is.
The study covered typical (in US, anyway) gas jugs in HDPE, and another type plastic, which escapes me at the moment. Both allowed evap/loss of lighter volatiles and concomitant reduction in octane. Just use steel for long term (year or more) and plastic for 3-6 months, in 'normal' temps. If I was keeping it in a shed in Arizona, I'd reduce planning figures by half. |

Has anybody actually SEEN a Predator 9500 in the wild? Like actually seen and laid eyes and hands on? They are unobtanium in my AO.
I have the 3500 and it has been rock solid for me as a backup, but with a 6 circuit switch. I am very strongly looking at the 9500 as a whole house backup solution. Mainly more for well and hot water versus AC at this point. |

Just bought the WEN 2250W generator as a sort of small backup/all around generator. I was looking to see if anyone had a generator like this and has made an auxiliary fuel setup for it? Military generators have a setup that can be used to run fuel out of a 55 gal or larger aux tank. I am looking for something like this to setup with my new little generator (like 5 gal tank). There are a bunch of gas caps available for an aux setup but I can't find any that fit this generator. Wondering if anyone has experience with honda/yamaha gas caps fitting this model?
