I get a nice zing if i poke at the swollen incision site, so i avoid that I am still skittish about standing from a chair sit. I have been using my arms to compensate for my bum leg for awhile, so my upper body strength is good. I am much stronger getting up today Prior to surgery last Monday, my right foot was deflected 25 degrees off to starboard, I had lost all interior hip rotation. Now when I walk or sit my foot faces to the front This is a good thing, and I hope to regain my mobility so I can ride my bikes and hike. Todays big event was a trip upstairs for a shower and later I had a PT session on getting into and out of a bed. Maybe I will sleep upstairs tonight, but I got a solid 8 hours in my recliner last night. My PT guy thinks I should rent or buy a powered lift chair, but I would rather buy a nice rifle |

I acquired a taste for narcotics after bypass surgery. My ribs were hurting, and they kept me stocked up. Don't do that. |
