Gitarmac's thread has me wondering.

Kirkland breakfast blend K-cup. Dash of half and half. Heaven.
I used to French press my coffee with fresh beans ground in my KitchenAid grinder. K-cup is just faster and the coffee is good with the Kirkland brand. |

[#2]
Robusta bean coarse grind via French Press.
Wake the neighbors up. |
|
[#3]
Roast my own
Have a decent grinder - baratza vario w/ steel burrs and an upgraded grind chamber. Can make drip, French Press, chemex, aeropress, or espresso based Usually make a long black. |

Are you sure you know where coffee comes from, OP? This ain't chili.

Black. Made in a percolator.
People who put cream and sugar in their coffee |
|
[#7]
Medium-dark roast, whole bean >15 grams through burr grinder, 20 second Doppio with ounce of cream or half n half.

WTF is coffee without beans?
I usually drink don fransisco K cup hawaiian hazel nut with about 20% choibani vanilla creamer. Nectar from the gods. most coffee taste like literal ass. |

whole beans freshly ground with a half shot of baileys irish cream.

Kirkland from an auto drip, already done when my sleepy ass gets to the coffee pot in the morning.

I was gonna throw out my typical coffee line but the early-thread timeout has given me pause.

I'm down for most coffee, but it's been increasingly
more difficult to find places that can consistently brew good hot coffee. I'll drink it with any combination of variety, blackness, cream, or sugar. I just want coffee to taste great again. |

Dark, murky & bitter, like me.
We got hooked on grinding our own Sumatran, mostly. K cup swill that grows so much bacteria, there were special ads reminding people not to allow water to sit, unless you enjoy diarrhea. Guess the k kup colonoscopy prep could be an option, vs Gatorade? |

I'm confused by the question. It's like asking "How do you like your pork? With pigs or without pigs?"
|

[#29]
Black coffee when I wake up.
Black tea when I get to the office. |
|
[#32]
Maxwell house original in a drip coffee maker. Cream no sugar.

View Quote My step son brewed coffee from dandelions (the roots if I remember correctly). It wasn't bad. So it can be brewed without beans? Lol Edit I should have mention I can drink it black, cream and sugar or just cream. What I prefer is with bailey's Irish cream. |

[#34]
Warm and inviting and first, but increasingly cold, dark and bitter as the night goes on.
But seriously, straight espresso. |
|
[#36]
They're close to me and I'll support a local business.
It's a lot better than whatever I've been getting at the grocery store and I don't have to roast my own beans. |
|
[#38]
I’ve never understood the appeal of intentionally burning one’s mouth with scalding bitter water.
Hard pass. |
|
[#39]
Light or medium roast
Cold brew, Technivorm, or Aeropress at work/home Pour over if I go to a place that offers it |
|
[#40]
I only drink coffee made with beans that come out of a monkey’s ass!
Seriously, I can drink it any way, don’t even mind if it’s been sitting since yesterday. All the same to me. |

Like my weman, light tan and creamy. Somewhat hot and wants to pay for everything.
You know? I mean, you feel somewhat like a cheap whore later on, but after a few high end drinks you forgive and forget. I know what I've got. You know? |

[#45]
Black, about as many grounds as the drip machine can take without overflowing. Life is too short for weak coffee.

Finally another coffee thread so I can ask for opinions as my thread from this weekend got no replies: I wish to purchase a “super-automatic” espresso machine and want one that has a decent sized water tank and will fit a full sized mug. I’d like it to bu no more than $700 if possible. Any advice?
As to my coffee, when I’m having espresso it’s Cuban style but sometimes straight. Americano I like with a splash of International Delights Almond Joy if with breakfast and black later in the day. |

[#48]
Cold brew from my toddy brewer, beans from a local place i grind coarse
|
|
[#49]
Used to be "hot, sweet, and blonde"
Now it's "decently warm, not quite sweet, and murky-blonde". If it's just black, not too crazy strong. If I'm going to add things, start stronger. But I don't use my coffee as a proxy for my masculinity or anything, either. |
