Quoted: Last gen Accord with the 2.0 or an Avalon. The Camry is always a good choice, but the dash looks like it was designed by a 12yo. View Quote The Avalon will fly under the radar because everyone will assume you're a blue haired old lady, it is comfortable and decently quick. I have a 2008 that can get 30mpg on the highway if I stay out of throttle and I expect the newer ones are even more efficient. If this thing ever dies I'm buying another to replace it. |

Quoted: Depends on your physique. If you're a pretty big dude, as in jacked not fat, get something tiny, like one of those little smart cars. Something that makes folks think "Holy shit, if that thing breaks down he can just throw it on his shoulder!" Really though, a Corolla is what you're looking for, I like their new hatchback models. If you're trying to save money and don't mind driving a glorified golf cart, a Mitsubishi mirage will suffice. Ain't got much ass with a little 3 cylinder, but it'll maintain 75 on the interstate and get 40~45 MPG. View Quote My daughter had a Mirage, that thing was a zippy little car. Someone here at work has that Hatchback Corolla, I like it! |

Quoted: Excellent troll thread sir, I tip my hat. In this thread, we're going to see the following rough categories of replies: o People who think that OP was serious, and even post pictures of their (presumably very manly) vehicles, because they didn't get the joke o People who do not take the OP serious, don't care any way, and post pictures or recommend satirical/SUPER GHEY vehicles o People who don't care if the OP is trolling or not, and genuinely try to square the circle and answer the question HINT: if you think the vehicle you drive determines your manliness, or you need a particular kind of vehicle to reinforce your own sense of manliness...then at least on some level, you're a thin-skinned baby, not a "manly man". Note for the beginner readers, I didn't say for work, for towing a boat or camper or trailer, for operating your business, or any other similar reason for which you might own a "manly" vehicle. This thread should be fun! View Quote In this thread a question was posed. It sparks conversation with like minded people, that's why we're here right Also in this thread are people who log into 'Social' media and overthink it. |

Quoted: I went with a GTI for my little daily driver. It would fit car seat and another kid. Shocking amount of space in them, we were able to fit the same number bags of mulch in it as we did our Grand Cherokee. Back seats are comfy. I'm 6'4" and it's comfortable to drive, though not the easiest to get in and out of for me, fine for my 5'1" wife though. Back seat behind me wouldn't be much use other than car seat b/c I set the seat almost all the way back. Fun to drive, good on gas, quick, nimble, and can easily be tuned if you want more zoom. https://i.imgur.com/l66bV1Oh.jpg View Quote I test drove one. I liked it alot! It's high on the list. |

I have a 2018 Honda Civic Sport Touring Hatchback. It has been a great little car. Great acceleration and gas mileage (I can get 45mgp on open highway). 27K when I bought it new.

Quoted: I'd run the numbers first. You can easily pay more money to "save gas" after payments, insurance, etc. If you just want another vehicle to rack up miles on and don't care about costs just get whatever you want. View Quote Words of wisdom as I don't plan on getting rid of my Sequoia. Adding another vehicle to the stable adds up to more gas/insurance/maintenance. Shit. |

I have had a Malibu for commute since 2014. On my 2nd one. I got the Premium 2.0 on both and they have decent power for highway running and get about 32-34mpg on hwy. That was coming from a Chevy Crew Z71 that got around 15mpg on hwy.
With that said....it will be the last one I will get since they are dropping the 2.0. I hate underpowered cars. Probably will look at a Camry next. |

I don't know how much of a car nerd you are but...
2013-2017 Chevy SS 2006-2017 Chevy Caprice 2008-2009 Pontiac G8 GT/GXP All three of these "super saloons" were actually Holdens, the Australian GM. All three have rather large V8s that still have pretty decent gas mileage and can make big power if you choose to modify them while still being a family sedan. The Caprice was only offered in America to police agencies, but are starting to hit the market via government auctions and can be had for a decent price considering what they are. All three are sleepers and will be future collectibles. |

Chevy Sonic RS. The car part is the problem. Many automakers have trimmed back the sedan/coupe offerings

I’m in the same position. Only had trucks for years, but now I’m managing multiple clinics around the metroplex and need something far more efficient, but I don’t want some fruit mobile either. My wife’s SUV will be the primary kid hauler but I do need to be able to fit all 5 of us in a pinch if need be, so no Miatas here.
I can’t spend a fortune on a depreciating asset, but I’ve considered a Lexus IS/ES, higher-end Camry, Volvo, Subaru, or something along those lines. |

I have a Ford Taurus SHO. Gets around 24 mpg. It's also stupid fast for an unassuming sedan. You'd be surprised what it can (and has) embarrassed out there.
Before that, I had a Pontiac Grand Prix GTP with the supercharged 3.8. I'm sure you're seeing a trend by now. |

Prius :-), Seafoam green.
No shit one of my best friends ever and quite the manly man himself has that exact car. He got a hell of a deal because it’s such a disgusting color and 50 or 60 miles a gallon or whatever he’s getting makes him happy. Plus you never have to worry about it getting stolen. |
