I have a 2018 Honda Civic Sport Touring Hatchback. It has been a great little car. Great acceleration and gas mileage (I can get 45mgp on open highway). 27K when I bought it new.

I have had a Malibu for commute since 2014. On my 2nd one. I got the Premium 2.0 on both and they have decent power for highway running and get about 32-34mpg on hwy. That was coming from a Chevy Crew Z71 that got around 15mpg on hwy.
With that said....it will be the last one I will get since they are dropping the 2.0. I hate underpowered cars. Probably will look at a Camry next. |

I don't know how much of a car nerd you are but...
2013-2017 Chevy SS 2006-2017 Chevy Caprice 2008-2009 Pontiac G8 GT/GXP All three of these "super saloons" were actually Holdens, the Australian GM. All three have rather large V8s that still have pretty decent gas mileage and can make big power if you choose to modify them while still being a family sedan. The Caprice was only offered in America to police agencies, but are starting to hit the market via government auctions and can be had for a decent price considering what they are. All three are sleepers and will be future collectibles. |

I’m in the same position. Only had trucks for years, but now I’m managing multiple clinics around the metroplex and need something far more efficient, but I don’t want some fruit mobile either. My wife’s SUV will be the primary kid hauler but I do need to be able to fit all 5 of us in a pinch if need be, so no Miatas here.
I can’t spend a fortune on a depreciating asset, but I’ve considered a Lexus IS/ES, higher-end Camry, Volvo, Subaru, or something along those lines. |

I have a Ford Taurus SHO. Gets around 24 mpg. It's also stupid fast for an unassuming sedan. You'd be surprised what it can (and has) embarrassed out there.
Before that, I had a Pontiac Grand Prix GTP with the supercharged 3.8. I'm sure you're seeing a trend by now. |

No shit one of my best friends ever and quite the manly man himself has that exact car. He got a hell of a deal because it’s such a disgusting color and 50 or 60 miles a gallon or whatever he’s getting makes him happy. Plus you never have to worry about it getting stolen. |
