I would love to have my old ID19 Citroen again, high school car. My dad always asked about all the little burn holes in the seats and floors

I have driven all the brands you list. If you need to depend on it you choose a Seat or Skoda. They are Volkswagons. You do not want to take anything else on that list on a 5000km road trip across europe if its your money or your ass at stake,

my friend had one of these back in 1984, we drove it all over the place.  It had a few design issues, but it was fun as hell to drive around.  We converted it ourselves from auto to manual transmission.  The first drive after conversion was a drive into NYC, in the Holland Tunnel, out the Lincoln Tunnel. Ran better with the manual transmission.
I'd buy one.
The Opel GT, the poor man's 'vette

Don't worry with one of those brands you will be walking.

They are part of the VW group, is all I know. (Which is not a good thing in my experience, anyways)
See some of their cars or at least ads on the tour d france

Other than that I have heard of some of the other names but nothing on their reputation

None.  Eurotrash cars suck.  All junk, all made by commies, all are unserviceable.  Absolutely garbage.

Only one of those brands is designed in Germany, mostly build in Bochum and Eisenach, Germany (some models are built in various countries like UK, Belgium, Spain, Italy and Poland). The rest are crap.

It depends.  If I wanted a boring shopping trolley, any of them.

If I wanted something to pull my racecar trailer, none.

If I wanted something quirky and fun, they all have made something interesting at one time or another.

Met a guy with one of these. I’d love to have one but at $100k+ it’s not going to happen.

Want the Alfa romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio V6 twin turbo. I like sedans like the M5.
