I mean, the goose eating part seems useful but it doesn’t make up for the rest.
Maybe someone could donate some old school busses and the Hatians could go from town to town Gypsy style, eating the geese everywhere they go. No more than 3 days then they have to move on and can only show up once a quarter. Geese problem solved. |

Back in the "good old days", legal immigration was a lengthy process, and the immigrant basically had to prove that they are a somewhat normal, employable person. But more recently, this process is "too slow". So the feds started handing out "temporary" status. TIP essentially means "let them in now, give them full legal status... and maybe someday, we'll we'll circle back to them. But probably not".
Consequently, many less-than-desirable people are legally able to enter the country. (And there's obviously millions of people entering illegally, as well).
