This war does serve a purpose to explain an attack, first on Hezbollah, and then when Iran protects Hezbollah, a major attack on Iran. Hopefully Iran doesn't have a nuke. |

I know of one of our Intel officers from Iraq who was very good at her job and was also a competitive runner who rowed in college who scored extended scale on the Female PT test every time while barely breaking a sweat while doing it. She was more-or-less "voluntold" by a subsequent command to apply for Ranger School for the testing phase to "integrate" Ranger school. She made it through an extended train-up and RIP and almost all the way through the course itself but is now a CPT (Retired) who walks with a slight limp and will likely require some sort of joint replacement by age 50. All because a bunch of feminists have dreams of a "girlboss" as Chief of Staff Army someday. I don't know how she feels about it, but her then-boyfriend (now husband) who IS a Ranger and actually served in one of the Batts wasn't exactly tickled pink by the outcome, even though it did clear the decks for them to marry and have three kids together. |
