I’d thought I’d largely been able to put behind me and block out the horrors i saw but this just brings it back and reminds me how much evil is in this world. It’s easier for many to ignore something happening on the other side of the world if it’s only grainy video but even that brings back the sounds and the smells….and the absolute desire to end those responsible |

back when the mega blast rocked Beirut at the port side grain complex i saw a bit of a documentary with ex- zionist norman finklestien explain how hezbollah now has 150,000 modern rockets that isreal actually fears and only option would be to evacuate civilians to crete or cyprus if time was allowed. these new hezbollah rockets are nothing even close to what hamas typically uses and are an actual threat that the isreali govt doesnt have proper way to address.
how many us carrier groups would be needed to eliminate 150,000 high grade rockets hezbollah now has all over southern lebanon? if fired all at once in say a few hours or whatever it takes what capabilities do us carrier groups really have at protecting them? are our capabilities even close to fighting that type of fight with carrier groups or no? |

View Quote Just one. I'm sure their is a nuke capable sub somewhere in the area. That solves the problem permanently. Now, I don't think that will actually ever happen. I don't think even the US has the ability to take out 150,000 rockets without many many re-arms. One carrier group isn't going to cut it. It sure as fuck is a serious amount of firepower, but a number of munitions that high spread out all over the places is impossible without nukes. |

Does anyone know if Israeli citizens who are Muslim are conscripted to serve in the IDF as most Jewish Israelis are? Certain Jews are exempt and certain Gentiles are included in the Military Draft. I know the broad outlines of their policy but am not sure whom it applies to in each instance. Similar to when our draft is in effect, there are exemptions and alternate service options. |

I saw this firsthand in Iraq and Afghanistan. Anything short of destroying every tunnel, clearing every house and killing every terrorist in a city of million people, then there is no wiping them out. Iran and Palestine have created a situation that can only be solved by nuclear weapons and the killing of thousands and thousands of innocent people. Measuring Against The Linchpin Itwas a method of determining which enemy civilians would be beheaded, used by the Mongols and other tribes that lived in the Mongolian plateau. Genghis Khan used this brutal method against Jamukha's coalition of tribes in 1202. All male captives were forced to walk beside a wagon wheel. If their heads were higher than the linchpin (a pin inserted at the end of the axle) they were immediately executed. The wagon wheel was a large wheel used to transport yurts and other goods. This technique was probably used to preempt against revenge attacks that were common between tribes at this time. If one tribe were to attack another, there was always the possibility that there would be a revenge attack soon after. By eliminating the older males, there was less chance of a counterattack from tribes that were in perpetual conflict due to centuries of distrust and robbery. Genghis Khan was a genocidal rapist and warlord of extreme brutality. It is a travesty that his name is not brought up when Hitler's name is. I'm glad Israel isn't doing that. Time heals all wounds. Do you think Frankfurt airport will be renamed Adolf International or there will be a chain of restaurants named Hitlers hotdogs in 700 years? |

Watching videos it is becoming clear to me that individuals resisting with firearms could make a difference (some did).
Also not seeing much in the way of squad level skills from the attackers in any videos. Of course since they were mostly hunting down fleeing and often dispersed civilians, the approach of splitting up to find them makes sense but makes the terrorists open to counter attack. |
