UPDATE: The boy dog is CLAIMED. He is going to JGrelle in Kansas!  ~~ We would love for him to go to a good home and not the shelter! Well behaved. Wants to please. Even housebroken, best we can tell. He would be thankful for a loving home where he could be your best boy.

Sweet boy! That's the sign when they want to please. Someone's gonna get a great buddy. We're currently at 4, the limit in our county before ya to have to get a kennel license. If we didn't have that, I get the feeling we'd have about 8.

@UndrGrndPrdcts @emsjeep Here is the thread where Joker1 got sick, was hospitalized, and Arfcom came through to place his dogs. He handed SFDR over to Jordan-- arfcom member name ImperfectlyPerfect3. Striker and Goatboy created a rescue forum just for her and SFDR. I came on board to help, because she was not arfcom savvy, and we need General Discussion to help move dogs. You can see in that forum what has been happening since he left us. I'm sorry for y'all to find out unexpectedly.

Especially since he wants to please. His sister is going to MRTEX in north Texas, and will have a great dane brother. All evidence points to other dogs being fine. We don't know about cats, but they are young enough that even that, I think, could be solved with training. @Makarov |

That's not always the case. (I have been owned by fancy dogs too, and they were awesome.) But these kinds of dogs make lifelong family members with far less trouble than more persnickety highly-bred types. |

Each placement represents an emotional and sometimes financial investment in their long term success and as such, you will never be alone as long as the dog lives. This is unprecedented and cannot be duplicated anywhere else. 3. One of SFDR’s maxims is “no dog left behind” . A corollary to that is that “it takes a community”. These adoptees become, when placed, forever known as Arfcom dogs. Want to start a thread and watch it grow to 3 pages while you pour a cup of coffee? Just title it SFDR adoption update and witness the flood of replies. That’s not an accident. The new families success is everyone’s success. In an increasingly caustic world, it offers a reprieve from the day to day grind and real opportunity to make tangible changes for the better. These adoptive families as well as the volunteers who make it possible, will stand shoulder to shoulder and do everything thing humanly possible to make it right.
