It was originally short for the baby boomer generation, which is simply cohorts defined by age that experienced similar things through their life. However, it is now defined as meaning “Anytime I want to sound like an idiot and blame others for my failures I’ll call someone a boomer.” It no longer holds meaning towards the generation, but more amply describes the subpar intelligence of the user. |
