Big agreement from someone who just bought one...okay, I bought the compact, but still...big enough to comfortably carry a 15 round mag, but cut down from a pistol that's difficult to conceal and pretty heavy.

+1 for that. My two favorite 9mm pistols are a '90s all-steel 941 SAO and a 1994 pre-B CZ 75, both Israeli surplus. Really need to stop putting off getting the 75 refinished so it can look as good as it shoots...

Seriously though, Glock 34, sub compact pistol of your preference (I like the G43x), MP5 clone (or SP5 if you don’t mind paying the premium).

Based on the guns that I've owned:

* BHP

There used to be a Glock 17 on that list - but the Canik took its place. It's a better gun in every way, including price.

I’m a Glock whore. 17.

The 19 is way too small for my manly, basketball palming dunking hands. The 19 is like holding a child’s squirt gun

Huh...At least with Gen4 and 5, the 17 feels like it's thinner in the grip. Regardless I've never regretted going 17 over 19.

Great choice, but not really full sized.

P226.
G17.
M&P 9 full size.

I’ve never had the CZ75 or Beretta 92, but I imagine those count.

Glock is still my favorite.

1911 triggers are sweet.

Wasn't very impressed with the trigger on my cz75, or my hk usp 45.

Springfield XD-9 with the 5" barrel for me. The Glock 19 is a close second. My 9mm 5" 1911 is third.

Mac “mini” version.  Fun and more accurate than it should be.  Shown with a Taurus 92 for size comparison.

The full size is even larger.
