My 1911 I'll keep as irons. But my .22 ruger 11 I've been wanting optics or red dot on for 30 yrs.

Quickly getting the sights on target and keeping them there until the shot breaks is all mechanical and independent of the sighting system. Both systems come onto the target at the speed I move the gun. |
