To make matters worse an amraam missile might not set off a warning in a Russian aircraft's radar warning receiver. Or if it does, it's too late to do anything about it. |

As more longer range air defense units show up in unexpected areas the attrition of the Russian air force accelerates. Now the Russians have to guess which ones are the wooden dummies, and which ones are real.
