 The 93rd is doing a lot of fighting in Bakhmut- this was the unit that had the T-64 engaging positions from up close recently. There's some social media leakage of troops talking about conditions and losses that's been used to suggest morale is low. This is alleged to be Ukrainian video of gear from a member of the 93rd, posted to Twitter by a pro-Russian account-

Nice post. That's excellent fieldcraft. Not "impressive"...but professionally done. Both sides would have been far better off building fighting positions like this then these silly trenches they build. And other then getting lumber, its not really much more difficult. Put a layer of sandbags on the roof and that would be a pretty good bunker. As is, the wood could direct a drone grenade's blast upward. The trashbag keeps you dry. If they had a spaceblanket or somethign reflective under the trashbag it would help out with thermal quite a bit. Take a look, kiddies, and compare/contrast with the orc-o-matic WWI trenches you see. |
