That may be the vid posted a few pages back titles 'UA soldier loses in gunfight with RU' or something like that. I couldnt watch it due to tweeter BS.

It looked like the soldier (that was killed) took the initiative, moved our aggressively and was "cutting the pie" properly but failed to hit the guy around the corner, jammed, ran out of ammo or something. He "had" the guy around the corner due to his bold move, running up quick, but somehow failed to close the deal and the other guy reacted well.

2 ways to clear corners (not counting grenades) slow and deliberate (taking quick peeks, mirrors, etc) or fast and dynamic (rush in, let the muzzle lead the way and shoot, a lot).

Recently, I began to notice that allegedly “original” Howard Impact Sport headphones began to appear on popular marketplaces, and several times cheaper than they actually cost. Most likely, they are trying to deceive the buyer, because. China does not stand still and the quality of their external copies is growing.

There are two ways to check whether it is original or not:

1. The presence of the original packaging (most often it is a blister with a hologram).

2. Remove the ear pads and see the board. If earlier it was obvious, because. there was a blue board on the replica and the speaker itself was smaller, but now it’s not much more difficult to do it ... As you can see in the photo (photo 2), the speaker is already more like the original ones, the board is already green, but when compared with the original ones (photo 3 ), you can see the difference in the size of these boards, they are larger on the original.

In general, according to reviews, this replica itself is working, but it still loses in terms of sound quality to the original ones. So be careful when choosing!

This infighting is taking away from the point of this thread.  So, I'll just say this, I'm sorry for my joke.  I'm sorry for not explaining why I posted the Russian video.  Let's get back to the war.

Yes, that video was 100% pure organic Putin semen, but its time to move on and I have no issues giving you a pass, and lets have some positive constructive conversations. *thumbs up*

Honestly Im a newbie to GD. I personally think lot of GD is chickenshit insecure men who live in their own little bubble. However in this thread I have enjoyed many in here, and there are some smart mofos in here too.

I am a combat veteran myself. I lost a buddy I went to sniper school with, I lost a platoon sergeant, I lost a team leader, I cant count the guys that got wounded, that Ive help patch up before the CSH. War is war, and Iraq and Afghanistan was a complete fucking waste.

That being said, this isnt that type a war. This is a country fighting for its survival vs a invader. This is larger scale conventional warfare. Ill be straight up, if I had to choose to fight in this war vs Iraq/Afghan, Id pick this quick. This WOULD be a type of war USA excels at, and we would absolutely crush Putins nuts hard.

However we are not fighting this war with our own men, and thats fine with me too. BUT lets give them everything they need. Lets look at the battlespace, see what the intelligence says, what the guys on the ground are saying, get some military SMEs in US/NATO together and create a shopping list and what is needed for the Ukrainians to PUSH the orcs out. As the battlefield changes and or evolves, adapt. Regardless its all about ending this conflict ASAP, and do it while the Russians are still on their heels. I am HOPING we are doing some moves on the inside, so when spring comes, we can make a huge push. I do not want to see this game continue where we wait........wait...wait some more before we react. All you are doing at that point, is giving Putin more time to possibly re group, gather more men, and prolong this even longer.

Tanks, himars, atacms, artillery, ammo, aircraft I really want to see. Anyways my point is this is not a Iraq or Afghanistan or NAM. This deserves our utmost attention.

Not to derail this thread but, if that's where you were, please don't feel that way. My brother was in AFG as well. Had his tour cut short by an IED but thankfully everyone involved made it out.

This, I saw a few others in this thread saying their service was a waste.  I feel awful seeing former service members that feel that way but I know that your service was not a waste.

Interesting, thank you so much for the insight, as always everyone on here is very knowledgable, including yourself included. Probably helped the Russian had his on full auto, or we might've seen it go hand to hand.

Meh, for 30-40 years now, the Russians will be "We have ten ships of this class!" but maybe 1-2 of those ships ever goes out on exercises or leaves Russian coastal waters.  We can send a frigate around the world without a морской буксир in the group to bring it back is not a big flex honestly.

That was pretty well executed.   I loved watching the Stugna operator making sure the other ATGM team hit the trailing IFV, then he blasted the one in front within seconds.

Actually, Sweden and Finland really wanted to join NATO together. Because of the escalated dispute between Stockholm and Ankara, the Finns are now publicly indicating a rethink.

+1, same here.   The more people look into the details and get more facts of a situation, they can usually come to reasonable conclusions on their own.  Anyone that spends 5 minutes looking for more info on their own is already way ahead of main stream media and their 20 second video and soundbites and opinion pieces.

Oh, I'm no expert but my background is in LE so I have some educated opinions.
I'm also standing by for some additional analysis of that vid. It basically shows the type of combat that has been occurring since man invented war...two men face off and try to kill one another. Like with old West gunfighters, it wasnt necessarily the best shot or fastest that wins but the guy that stays calm, keeps a steady hand, and does what is necessary: make sure your gun works, is loaded, and dont hesitate. Unfortunately, I think it was a Russian that won that gunfight.

Yeah, I understand the necessity of keeping Turkey in NATO during the cold war, but I'm to the point now that they should be a secular Islamic country or get the fuck out.

I'm personally fed up with their fuck fuck games. We don't need them anymore.

They will sail to Havana, where the sun is warm, and so is the   "comradeship."

Seriously, Russian ships have called on Havana routinely, including this ship just a few years ago.  I don't understand how they know it "diverted" from its course unless someone at Red Banner Northern Fleet leaked the op plan?  Just click-bait imo.

They had expected it to head to South Africa for exercises with their friends in the Chinese and SA navies which are scheduled for next month.  If they're playing FAFO in the water near the US before then, they might miss their little play date.

But you're right, they may just be heading to Havana.
Hopefully to pick up more cigarettes, cigarillos, and cigars to carelessly smoke around the fuel and munitions.

Many (if not a majority) of the "Whites" who led the opposition to Apartied were hardcore Marxists who wanted to realign SA with the Soviet Bloc.  I had a college History professor who was more-or-less in a sort of "soft exile" from SA during this era, and he was a full-blown Marxist, as were some of his SA friends whom I also met.  When the Apartied regime (barely) outlived the Soviet Bloc, these folks were politically and socially homeless in Mandella's "New" South Africa.  Unfortunately for them, once Mandella left office, it turned out that there were plenty of corrupt "commies-of-color" to sell out to the Chinese, large Indian-run conglomerates, etc, and they no longer needed "White" cutouts to show the proper moralistic/intellectual deference to North American/Western European intellectuals and could go for full "African" governance of "Socialism with African Characteristics", with all the failure and corruption that usually entails.  This is why Botswana usually kills SA in most measures of per-capita human development despite being historically one of the poorest regions of Africa.

As the highlight they could blow the part of the Kerch bridge that is in Ukrainian territory, leaving the Russian half there as a great big monument of fail to laugh at until the Russians get around to demolishing it themselves.

They could even have a lottery to see who gets to push the plunger on the detonator.

This shows the sighting system, including a thermal rifle sight imager adapted to the setup.

It’s probably gonna cruise along the East or Gulf coast just outside US territorial waters to get people who weren’t around for the Cold War to sperg out. There is nothing that ship can do that would prevent us from reducing Russia to ashes with a retaliatory strike.

Spent about $25 today for the food drop off thanks to you. A couple packs of coffee that mix with hot water, some individual packs of coffee, cookies, tuna, beef stew, chocolate, wet wipes, and a pack of match boxes.

Each patch is about $5 extra and you threw in $20 more. Thank you! I should have about $100 more to spend on food for the troops/families in need from the others i sold.

Each patch is about $5 extra and you threw in $20 more. Thank you! I should have about $100 more to spend on food for the troops/families in need from the others i sold.

Wow, that looked like a pretty significant attack.  A whole BMP unit wiped out with their infantry.  Also pretty interesting to (possibly) show an anti-tank gun shooting at long range.
