The tale is apparently an amalgam of the work of a few different resistance fighters. For example the stabbing Russian's in the park is from this guy:  Resistance fighter details killing drunk Russian soldiers From the comments, the ending is a different guy, but also a story from occupied Kherson: "The ending is based on a real story. It was a man who killed few russian soldiers by blowing himself up with grenade. It happened in Kherson too,his last words were "Слава Україні!"." The overall tradecraft of simple methods to befriend and get info while under occupation were pretty solid. Ed's Manifesto, as well as a number of hackers / 'penetration testers' have mentioned over the years the power of having cigarettes as a social connector / ice breaker. |

Jeez, too much love on tanks here. Ukraine needs the ability to intercede any russian movement of troops and materials anywhere in the theater of war. This is vital for them to win. Tanks cannot do that. Trying to will just turn this into a slow, grinding war of attrition that ends in negotiations.
Ukraine needs air dominance to win. They need jets and armament for those jets along with SAMs. That's key and vital for them right now. FJB policies on Ukraine support is effective bleeding them dry slowly over time. He is only interested in limiting Ukraine's ability to repel the invaders, not for them to win. If he says otherwise, it's just lip service from a politician that routinely lies. |
