Does the Russian MoD/government have enough quality troops left to take on Wagner, aka: force Wagner to do what they want? Does Wagner have enough quality troops to take on the Russian MoD and tell them what to do with their pens to sign the new contracts with? What would happen if Wagner just up and decided to head to Moscow and have a discussion? Could the Russian Chief of Staff survive heading to the front to have a discussion with Wagner and other Mercenary heads?

Can't really take advantage of the optics and mobility crawling through an arty ravaged minefield. Idk I read a Forbes article that the Stryker equipped brigades are going to be used for the breakthroughs, and those brigades also have the challenger 2 tanks a d polish PT-91. But those 3 leading g brigades doing the fight right now have lost a huge part of there mine clearing vehicles. It does feel like the mines were more trouble than expected. I wonder if it was bad luck, bad intel, Russian trickery, etc. In a sense, it might have been a few factors. This is just my opinion. 1. I also saw reports that that area had higher quality troops and spetsnaz, so they probably do have the higher end equipment to work with. |

Could be..sure has been alot of finger pointing lately. I belive Shoigu has Putins blessing still though otherwise he wouldn't have issued the order for all mercenaries to sign a contract. That would have to have come from Putin himself. Knowing full well Wagner would not comply. |

The destruction of Volga Germans and Crimean Tatars. . Raping everything that moved during the "liberation" of Eastern Europe. . Deporting the entire Chechen/Ingush population during WW2. . Everyone focuses on the conflicts between Shoigu/MOD and Prigozhin/Wagner but who really controls each faction?
Neither can exist in a vacuum. The MOD is empowered by the Kremlin, but who controls Wagner? I’m assuming they get some support from in the form of weapons and munitions from the MOD. But who actually pays the bills? The gas companies (Gazprom, etc.) that have foreign investments that Wagner protects? The oligarchs that have diamond mines that Wagner secures? Just wondering if Wagner is a hedge against a failure of the “SMO” by the oligarchs. |
