I think what we're seeing is more like Valkyrie...except instead of Prighozin being a latter-day Stauffenberg, we're seeing somebody else (Putin?) using Wagner like the SS to smash internal opposition.

I think Prigozhin is rolling with such speed and surprise that he will take power in Moscow in a couple days. I absolutely believe that Prigozhin has the support of some of the billionaires and parts of the military/intelligence. I would NOT bet on him rolling out of Ukraine to shore up his power in Moscow once he takes over. He has tens of thousands of fighters that want to fight, not sit on their hands in Russia. I think Prigozhin could be much worse than Putin, because he's on the ground with real intelligence. When Wagner takes control of the MoD, that could be the morale kick in the pants that the Orc army needs to rally and become more effective on the ground.

I'm rooting for both the Russian MoD and Prigozhen on this. I really pray that Wagner stalls and they fight each other to destruction in a war of attrition.
