A VChK-OGPU source said that the FSO guarding the Kremlin and the Lenin Mausoleum knew about the impending attack at least an hour before the first strike on Moscow City. According to the source, at about 2:20 the special services began to notify the duty units of the capital that it was necessary to prepare for the next meeting of the "guests". The special message said that three UAVs were found in the Kaluga region, 120 kilometers from the metropolis, and the estimated flight time was about one hour. As previously reported, one of the drones was shot down by air defense forces in the Odintsovo district - yesterday there were 54 reports from residents of the Moscow region who saw the UAV. Two more managed to slip through the line of defense and were noticed already on the approach to the skyscrapers on Presnenskaya embankment. Public transport drivers reported that skyscrapers were being attacked. The first strike at 3:15 hit the office of the Ministry of Digital Development. Damage area - more than 500 sq.m. After 36 minutes, the second drone crashed into OKO-2 - more than 450 sq.m were destroyed. Explosive waves hooked nearby skyscrapers. A total of 188 double-glazed windows were broken. Already in the afternoon, reports of unidentified aircraft continued to arrive at the duty units of Moscow. Special attention should be paid to the message of the police driver Andrey Romanenko, who said that after the service at about 10 am in the area of Dmitrovsky highway, he saw an organized wedge of triangular UAVs with wings - 5 pieces moved at an altitude of 4 kilometers to the center. It was not possible to establish what kind of drones they were, but the colleagues of the impressionable applicant were taken home to sleep.

If they are having to basically kidnap guys off the street than 80% may support it in theory but obviously many of those 60,000 didn’t support it to the degree of reporting for duty in person. And this is in the occupied areas that have been “de-nazified”. I suspect willingness to report for duty will be much worse in the population centers. Moscow probably is a hotbed for support because the conscription mostly exempts them. Let’s see the support numbers when Putin tries to draw significant numbers from Moscow. |

Ukraine and Croatia agreed on the export of Ukrainian grain through Croatian ports on the Danube and the Adriatic Sea. Russia should not be able to terrorize the world and manipulate hunger.
Ukraine and Croatia agreed to use Croatian ports for the export of Ukrainian grain On Monday, July 31, Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba held talks with the Minister of Foreign and European Affairs of the Republic of Croatia Gordon Girlic-Radman, Ukraine and Croatia agreed to use Croatian ports for the export of Ukrainian grain. "The main topic of our talks today, as well as traditionally with other partners, was weapons. We discussed further support for Croatia, and I also thanked for the assistance already provided. For obvious reasons, I will not share the details. I will only say that there are specific agreements that will soon be implemented. Separately, I note that the assistance provided by Croatia is very solid, if we calculate its share in the total military budget of this country," the press service of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry quoted Kuleba as saying. Taking into account the withdrawal of the Russian Federation from the Black Sea Grain Initiative, Ukrainian food exports became an important topic of negotiations. "We have agreed on the possibility of using Croatian ports on the Danube and in the Adriatic Sea to transport Ukrainian grain. Now we will work to lay the most efficient routes to these ports and make the most of this opportunity. Every contribution to unlocking exports, every open door is a real, effective contribution to the food security of the world. I thank Croatia for its constructive assistance," he stressed. The ministers also discussed preparations for the International Donor Conference on Demining in Ukraine, to be held in Zagreb in October. Kuleba expressed gratitude to Croatia, which has taken on the role of one of the global leaders in demining in Ukraine. In addition, the diplomats devoted a significant part of the negotiations on the implementation of the Peace Formula of the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky. "The Croatian side reaffirmed its readiness to take part in the implementation of a number of points of the Peace Formula: on food security, energy security, restoring respect for the UN Charter and the territorial integrity of Ukraine, achieving justice for Russian crimes and preventing ecocide. We are very grateful. This is exactly the specifics that we expect from other countries, and we continue to work together on the implementation of the Peace Formula and the holding of the corresponding summit," the Ukrainian Foreign Minister said. https://ru.interfax.com.ua/news/political/926109.html |

The light tank makes more sense when you think about the logistics on the islands we’d need to invade. Could any of the infrastructure hold up to 70 plus ton tanks? If not then we should look at different options. If we can ship two light tanks for each heavy tank that adds up. Again look at the WWII pacific campaign to get an idea of what the logistics are going to look like. A 70 ton tank on Guadalcanal is likely to get stuck often, the jungle is not nearly as friendly to thermal as other areas meaning ATGM teams have better concealment to work from. Now were going back to the old outside influence of international mercs getting involved. Same ole same old since it was anti-commie (wester powers) vs. commie (China and USSR) last time and the same playbook is getting dusted off. |

It's really good to see. I just wish that these drones packed the same punch as a Shaheed. Google indicates that a Shaheed has 30 - 50kg of explosives, in contrast to the much smaller payloads of the Beaver and Rubak. |
