Full disclosure, I'm completely fascinated by them. I despise the destruction they cause, but the damn things are amazing from a purely scientific point of view. I did study Meteorology. The observations part is pretty fun. The Dynamic (math) part sucks ass.

I've never seen a nader in progress live, but I've seen the aftermath a few times. I've seen waterspouts from formation to end twice though - basically a nader at sea.

I've seen two in real life. This one went within a mile of my house and my sister took this picture standing on her front porch. She lives at the other end of my neighborhood.

Just out of curiosity, what is a run-away heart event? There have been a few times my heart rate has damn near doubled for seemingly no reason, but after a while it goes back to normal.
