Well they launched another batch of satellites yesterday morning so I reckon their launches are back on track. Supposed to be a couple more in the near future.

(im sure i mangled the computer speak here). if I could install it and make it work it is well built. Literally was "plug this in" open phone thing and set up network passwords. then plugged my mini router (walmart, 15 bucks) into the back of modem from satalite, then waited 30 seconds and logged into play PUBG. Yeah that bad. i had usually 300-600 kbps MAX on my dsl1 line(occasionalyl 1 mbps) that was the best i could get. Now i have 30-50 MBPS. I paid my 100 dollar deposit in Feb 2021, got the box in august 2021. I live in rural maine. |

Generally you'd just want a boring switch for plugging multiple items in to the one port if you're still relying on the router in the dish, otherwise you're just adding another layer of NAT... |

Update from Idaho. Starlink has been rock solid throughout our use and both the wife and I work from home. Video conferencing, the works. One thing I have noticed over the past few weeks is significantly better latency. Now I am seeing a consistent range of 23-35ms which is even better than what I would see via the local land-based internet providers prior to switching to Starlink.

When should I get in line?
The house I'm building in north western NH should be done mid 2023. I have great broadband in central NH where I'm renting. |

You can use the data port from the large POE injector to your own router. I’ve done this for 5 customers and my farm house. Works great. |

I was just reading about that.... now I need to find a good mesh router system to get good coverage throughout the house. House is an L shape with a second story on one side. Currently the bedroom furthest from it is only get 30% signal strength from the included router. |

I refunded when Suddenlink came to town. (16 down /1 up) 8 months later I am back on the list. I am tired of multiple disconnects a day. Sad though I am pushed to mid 2022 now instead of late 2021. I had hopes for fiber but there only option is line of sight to my house with the 15-25 foot attena on roof for more money and half the speed.
I had seen from others that the 2021 delivery date has been over promised though. |

Haven't run out of data in the first few month of having it, and speeds are 20. Thinking I may pass up starlink now as I don't see the value of $500 initial/$100 per mo right now. Maybe that would move you up in line a spot!! |
