I remember they were closer to 150gr. Two to a 38 case and three to a 357. Plus a moderate powder charge.

I can do a one-shoulder bro-hug, or a Christian side-hug to dudes that don't share blood with me.  Which one do you prefer?

Who is Lauren?  Sincere apologies but bj is a request that cannot be granted.  Will a virtual hug suffice in a pinch?
Ohio, which hug for MissB, one-shoulder bro-hug or a Christian side-hug?  I'll take either or....

M1, I've been thinking (never good) and doing some CAD scribbling, and I think I have come up with something.

For less than the price of a custom bullet mold, you could buy a bottle of #1 standard shot (not buckshot) which has a diameter of .160".
Twelve #1 pellets will stack inside of a .38/.357 case (4 layers of 3) in about the same space as a full wadcutter. Total payload would be 73-75 grains depending on what source you reference.
Gas checks could be used for under/over shot wads, or you could make your own out of whatever you like.

Look here for Super Shot #1. Eight pound bottle for $36.90 plus whatever shipping costs.

At 1150 pellets per pound, that's a whole lotta rounds.

Like I said, just thinking . . .

Now that would be a cool load. Great idea and much cheaper to load. Very little recoil too.

I had a friend that would load 45 Colt press a gas check to the bottom just down to the powder charge and fill with really fine shot top off with another and apply a crimp for snakes.

I like your idea. I may have to try it. Just as a pest round those could be a lot of fun.

Some of those in the model 15 would make a great short range ground squirrel duster. Would work sweet in my 642 also.

Just glad to be here.

BTW, it was nice of our Founder to stop by and make an appearance earlier.

That just leaves AMTguy, RMP and Wormgod for usual suspects unaccounted for and have yet to check in since last year...

Holy hangover, will stick to non-alcoholic beverages for awhile; whisky flowed a little too heavy last night.
All this ammo talk has revived me, save 1 for MissB; would love to have a small collection to put on my desk in the girl-cave. Talk about an hypnotic state when Terry starts thinking & you guys talk about re-loading.
RMP is busy spreading his own unique style of beautiful love (venom) throughout ARFcom.  BTW, Pox hope your Papa is recovered & feeling well?
If you guys didn't catch it, Wormgod got hurt @ work.
Don't know squat about the oilfields of Texas & fracking but he pays the price on his battered body. Saw those pretty eyes in pain, ugh..Hugs from here.

Maybe ATMguy found popularity & moved on up to the east side.
New England Patriot's kicked some ass, off to championship game.
TGIF Ohio!
Aiden nice to see you check in on your flock periodically.  Without this thread wouldn't have found kindness, wisdom and compassion from Sa/oU friends.  I'm lucky enough to have been taken under the wing by good people that share so freely with this ignorant girl.  BTW, ignorance is forgivable as it's due to lack of knowledge.  If you know better and not using it, that is just plain stupid; may as well be a fucking liberal.
Last but not least FHBO, he can go suck a dick of razor blades!
Goodnight & sleep well.

Great picture everyone is happy and your beard looks like it's filling in well. Mothers always look like they have a harder time letting go. Notice the hand.

Yesterday, went to a native American arts festival and saw a lot of cool stuff.

After that went to Goodyear airport home of the now defunct Goodyear aerospace buildings built during WW2. They trained Mitchell pilots there so all the hangers are of that time frame.
They lease out chunks of these hanger to businesses. But there is still a ton of vacant space all the widows on the roof face North so light only comes from one direction.
Each being about a quarter mile long you never know what you will find. Kind of like a big maze found a couple of cool things though so I thought I would share

Past those doors in the back is the other 2/3 of the building but looking left.

Monday . . . ugh!

Gonna be a long week, better check the coffee stockpile . . .

New .44 SWC mold will be here today. I went with a gas check design, checks should be here Wednesday.
Should have some samples to test fire by the weekend.

Gonna try the Gator brand copper gas checks, they get really good reviews. Less expensive than Hornady and easier to get.
