YAY, a fine sunny day with NO storms!! We are going to get over 40 degrees which is dam near tropical for us Yankee popsicles past few months. Unfortunately, another pile of icy crap will be here tonight & tomorrow.

My quiet, snow covered street early this morning.  Pretty blessed it's not a heavily traveled because I had to bust my way out of the driveway.

No mail for over a week, postal lady is NOT my friend.  You would think she would take pity upon my poor buried mailbox, no such luck.

Was hoping to take the day off & rest at home, this week has been a boxing match with a cold or flu.  Got a message in the wee hours from my secretary she was not going to be in today.  No rest for the wicked or tired, other then a slight headache feeling much improved today.

Big hugs from here Sa/oU friends, have a NICE day!!!

My lawd! What is it? There! UP THERE IN THE SKY!

Is it a UFO?

Oh, that's what the sun looks like?  I vaguely remember.

I'd trade the sunshine for less wind.

All good things must come to an end….besides Sly, your not lucky enough to get rid of me that easy.  I have your digits & will not hesitate to reach out & squeeze you all the way in Montana.

I'd post more but don't want to turn this into a parody of Facebook.  Bunch of whiny idiots, all rainbows & unicorn farts.  Besides, trust me, nobody wants to hear the daily trials & tribulations of my life.

Speaking of dead, Terry usually always sends a TGIF text, going to go check in with him on FB, makes sure all is well with that southern gentlemen.

Thread goes a day without a post and we're sticking a fork in it?

I don't THINK so . . .

Been sick for the past three days. Really sick, like barely drag out of bed to go to work and then back into bed as soon as I'm home and cleaned up.
Left out about 11:00 am today, I'm done for the week.

I left work, and as I was sitting in the drive-thru at the bank the phone rings. It's the boss.
Uh oh, what now? Am I gonna have to go back in?

"Hey, they got .22s at the bait shop, better come get some before they're all gone."

So I scored a brick of .22s on the way home. Good to have a boss that shoots and hunts.
Made me fell a little better.

Thank you for checking up on me MissB, I needed it.

Hope everyone's weekend goes well and those down with sickness get feeling better soon.  Both kids have been coughing and hacking all week.  I'm sooooooooo tired of hearing them sniffle and sucking snot instead of going for the tissues.   SWMBO has it too and thinks she may be getting a sinus infection.

This winter has been cold, long and windy and only compounded by being one marked with frequent bouts of illness that just hang on.

Had a nice chat by phone with a little birdy that assures me the thread, will go on!

Sly, this is my S&W 22A was talking about; believe I'm going to thoroughly enjoy her this Spring.

Holy smoke-bombs just had a real doozy of a thunderstorm roll by the house.  Mother Nature is having no mercy this winter, something must have crawled up her ass & done died.

Oh, and I believe that's a Kentucky gal.
But she would fit right in here, no one would ever know.

JC, I'm glad they skipped the finger grooves on the G42. I like the finger grooves on My G19, but not the ones on the subcompacts, they just don't let me get the grip I want.
