I will call, MissB. A friendly voice will do me good.

Probably be late afternoon tomorrow.

Not much chance of seeing the li'l injun  this weekend, though. Maybe after the shitstorm dies down a bit . . .

All in all a decent day in the grind.  Flew by pretty fast, got some shit accomplished.  Ordered four 12 round mags for the new 1911 in the family.  It only came with 1 mag, WTF is that all about, grrr.....

Hooligan, sounds like you had a busy day as well.  Hope little Will runs out of fluid for your sake soon.  Mumma will be home to spoil her baby boy & you'll get to relax.  I assume it's exhausting keeping up with a 2 year old, especially 1 that is leaking.  Will stick with my little puppies.

M1, what do you have planned this weekend?

Terry, slow & deep breaths, will be here if you need to vent.

Stopped on the way home & purchased little Chili Pepper a new collar & leash.  Tomorrow we may get over 40 degrees, going to take him out & see how he does on a walk.  Brought home KFC for dinner, going to curl up with TV & ARFcom this fine Friday evening.

Hugs from here Sa/oU!

Have to run and get my daughter. I think I am going to hit up the gun show at Cardinal stadium Saturday. Catch the dog park on Sunday or maybe the zoo.

Been a long time since we went there. Friday night is pizza night once again.

Leaking is an understatement! His car seat is completely disassembled hanging up outside drying out after a very thorough cleaning, his clothes are soaking in a bucket of soapy water and my truck has been Febreeze'd and is sitting in the driveway with the windows down airing out.   I was afraid he had caught a bug but he's been happy and wide open ever since so I guess he's feeling fine.   The funniest part about it all is I didn't even bat an eye.   I guess after so many times of being puked, pee'd and pooped on you sort of get used to it.

I hope you have a great Friday night.

I need some 7.62x54r for that cheap rifle I picked up a while ago.  The retread Mosin Ohio helped me identify.

I want to try that baby out. From what I see the Finns were really good at using them for good effect.

I just want to blast 30 cal holes in things.

Good morning Sa/oU. Up early to get stuff done. Thought I would throw in some pics to start the day.
The boxer affectionately called the Bumble gets cold easy. So he uses the Shepard mix as a bed when need be.
I know I need to clean the window. They got into the trash too.

This one just because I thought it was funny.

Nice Saturday, took ride to the dump, get mail & grocery shopping. Still NO delivery of mail to the house, have to pick it up at the post office.  Someday when the snow melts maybe the lady mail nazi will again deliver to my box.

Had a small reprieve from cold, made it up to 45 today & when the sun was out it was glorious!!!

Will be short lived, tomorrow back down to sub-zero temps.

Spent the day hacking away at the trees and bushes in the yard. Trimming stuff and hauling it to the ally.
Decided to do the dog park when it cools down this evening.

Decided to go to the gun show on Sunday. Need me to pick anything up for you MissB?

Anyone else want something? I will not buy it, but if you post it I will price check it for you out here in the sticks.
Kind of fun seeing what stuff goes for in a different part of the country.

Nice rifle pjoo!

I hung out with the kids this morning while my wife went to a meeting.  It was nice out so we spent most of the morning playing in the yard.  Our new dog broke out so I had to load up the kids and go looking for her.  She wasn't far away but she was right in the middle of the damn road.  Thank god no one hit her my daughter would have lost it.  I did my best Dukes of Hazzard impression sliding sideways on the shoulder to a stop (with my 2yo laughing hysterically the entire time), jamming on the e-brake and diving out of the truck and intercepting the dog as she tried run away with that "oh shit, he mad" look on her face.

Now I'm sitting around doing a few things waiting on them to get back from a birthday party.  Y'all have a nice night.

Me too.  Luckily a nice lady was blocking on lane for me and no one was coming the other direction.  It's not a super busy road but it does have steady traffic.  It's time for an underground fence for the front yard I guess.

It's a CMT Tactical billet.  Didn't find much info on them but took a chance.  They had a price too good to pass on during the panic last year.

Good morning Sa/oU. Gun show this morning. Last night at the dog park the moon was just rising at sunset.

The one that got away. Really wanted to catch that plane in front of or near the moon.

The Bumble cooling off. That would be Cooper.

Hope you all have a great day.

Happy Sunday everyone!!!!

Totally uncropped. It's just that I went to a longer lens. The wide one was taken with the 18-55 Nikon. I pulled it and went to the 70-300. Not great for close up work.
But it really reaches out there and brings back good things. The only thing I did was add contrast and darkened things a tad. That darn sun around here wants to wash out all those colors.
Raw image incoming. If  you can spare a minuet.

This is it as the camera saw it. You can't change that many settings at once. so the software lets to bring it back to what you saw.
Nothing was added, just corrected for a imperfect picture.

I acually had a better shot of the moon than that and here it is. But I used that one because I liked the plane in the picture.
I cropped this one a bit to remove the trees and darkend the sky a tad. I could have wound it up more. This is at 235 out of 300 possible.
But here is your Moon.

Good morning Sa/oU  peoples.

Odd coincidence you should post that M1. I haven't took a moon picture in some time.

I used to love the moon.
It was symbolic of someone I once knew.
The moon witch. My ladybug.
But it was not to be.  The ladybug spread it's wings.
And disappeared into the moonlight.
Then the moon lost it's lustre, and my dragon scales fell away . . .

I used to love the moon.

M1 ty for the most beautiful pictures!  It's so cold here today & still buried in snow. It's nice to see you guys post warmer weather in other parts of the country.

Most of the lake is still frozen & will be for awhile.

The wishing well is looking pretty weary after a LONG winter.

Little Chili Pepper looking sharp in his new collar.

Slept late & haven't moved much so far, off to get something accomplished.

Have a great Sunday Sa/oU, hugs from here!!!!

I am sorry for that my friend....There are many things in this world, I wish could be.

But sadly are not.  When things seem darkest.. A  Moon will bring light to the night. You just need to keep faith.

And await it's rise. Times are tough at the Terry house. Reach out to any and all here. The place wouldn't be the same without you.

Hey everyone! Still alive and kicking . . . just not so high
I really need to check in more often, it takes quite a sitting just to catch up!.
Hope everyone is doing well / better. Still doing 15 hours over time every week but the extra income is sure welcome!

Nice stick Pjoo! I just received my 12" PSA pistol upper the other day and have to wait until April to catch up on my toy budget. That was my "working so much present"
Looking forward to the 4/26 gun show in Berea That and now I have to save up Two bills for the SBR stamp because FUCK YEAH!
Also been jacking around with an 80% I got off Gunbroker. The drilling jigs were a bit off. Wound up drilling the safety holes to 1/2" and JB welding in aluminum rod for redrilling.

Did the St. Paddy's thing Saturday night and saw the Irish music band Runa at the State. Was a pretty good show. Down front was a little girl dancing though half of it.

MissB, hope you are feeling much better. Keep the FSA in line. The weather is slowly working itself back to spring and before you know it we will be complaining about the heat / humidity.

Time for a shower and to fall asleep to some David Weber. Is it just me or is he getting more "wordy" with his books? I swear, you could make that book half the size and now miss anything important!

The gun show was good. Didn't buy much though. Only had like three hours to do it in.
Got some ammo for that Finn Mosin and some jerky. Picked up some cheap flash lights.

Really looking forward to the one in April. Much bigger and a lot more fun. It's never a bad day at the gun show.

My reminiscing last night got the better of me.

Remember that I fancied myself a performer of sorts at one point in my life.
I have written my share poems/lyrics, but I hadn't written anything in a while.

Going back through by FB and looking at old photos, I came across this. It was written a little over two years ago.

I was going through some very different tribulations . . .

Today at noon, I saw the half-moon
And it made me think of me
There, but not quite really there
In a place I should not be

The stars have hidden for the day
They fear the sun it seems
And the sun glares at me, full of rage
I feel the hatred in its screams

But the stars will come again tonight
When the sun has gone away
And thank me for my company
It's their love that makes me stay

Today at noon, I saw the half-moon
And it made me think of me

Was loading some stuff up for Goodwill and my old Hispanic neighbor was taking his daily walk. He spotted the roll of phone wire I had there.
Told me as a small boy he would have done anything to have it. He would use phone wire to make souvenirs for the tourists at the border.
So I gave it to him. Fast forward two weeks later and I see him this morning and he gave me this. Mexican folk art Scorpion. Made of wire. Great person, retired now.

And I thought Origami would be a pain. I couldn't do that if you gave me a month!......For 25 cents US your high.

Happy Saint Patrick's Day!!!  Drank Guinness all weekend long as well as a corned beef dinner with new friends to celebrate.  Gotta pick up some more Guinness on the way home tonight because I ran out.  I love that stuff...

Getting the stamp sucks... is this your first Class III?  Are you going to e-file?  Turnaround time is SO much quicker than snail mail!  I think they were just starting e-file when I sent mine in and I didn't know about it.  I was on my way out the door for my deployment and thought it would be back by the time I returned... three months after I got back I got the stamp.  Go figure, story of my life.
