I may order but I want extensive testing 1st. I bought an MCX as soon as they came out. That was a poor decision I won’t make again

Idk, between Faxon, brownells, serbu, oly, and RRA doing the bufferless upper conversions in the past and recent EWS bufferless bolt carrier group; I'm not sure how successful this will truly be. Maybe if they can get the upper under 400-500 it will take off this time. Attached File |

God damn, I always wanted one of those uppers just for the handguard.......

Interesting but why bother? At that point you may as well build from the ground up. See the MCX.
I like that they're expanding but they seem like they might be pushing too hard. Get the AKs right, get those MP5s out, and we'll see about those Glock things. Seems like they have their plate full as is. |

So it's a SCAR type upper for a standard lower? https://www.AR15.Com/media/mediaFiles/284035/morty_jpg-1239721.JPG View Quote |

What is that handguard? I'm really digging it.

I'm seriously interested in this upper and eagerly awaiting additional info.

Is this the same design as the ARFcom 10th Anniversary SEBR?
Anyone? |

View Quote Not sure I really care about this as a full gun, but you can get this upper and throw it on an existing SBR or pistol lower, which makes for a very small/neat package. Not sure on price yet but if it sticks with PSA's model it will be extremely affordable. My HD gun is a 300 BLK 8" pistol. If these run right it would be nice to have the same thing but have the ability to fold it. Adjustable gas is also good to have. |

Will they charge extra for purplish anodizing or does it come standard? Will the charge more to ship the upper than they do 6 stripped lowers? View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes |

Brownells just announced brn-180 lowers with a built-in pic rail for folding stocks. These two are made for eachother.

Don't forget the humble Kel-tec PLR-16, which is the only one still in production and selling well. The fact they cost under $450 new probably helps a lot. I love mine, especially with a folding brace on it. View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted:

Not the same thing, PSA JAKl is different by miles. That Oly Arms is a bufferless direct impingement gun. The JAKL is a long stroke piston system.

I’m a huge piston AR fan and I’m interested in seeing if this ever comes to fruition! Keep your eyes in Superlative Arms as well. They are releasing a short 300 BLK barrelled piston upper (already was supposed to be out). Not sure about final configuration or length yet. |

Well yeah, it uses an AR-15 lower. Let's be honest though, it's hard to call it an "AR-15."

In for the shortest barrel length in 300 BLK if somebody knows. Other manufacturers have tried and been unsuccessful doing a very short 300 BLK with a long stroke piston system. https://media.giphy.com/media/20Jfbkqya7nrp7EcMP/giphy.gif View Quote |

I have a Serbu AR15 lower assembled with a folding stock that was supposed to be for the SU15 upper. Don't know if that will happen.
Would like to get a PSA upper for it instead. |
