For the Property of No Government model I had a couple ideas for selector positions.

Safe - Life
Semi - Liberty
Full - Pursuit of happiness

Or

Safe - Peace

Full - American way

@PalmettoStateArmory

5/13/18 is the date of first post for this thread and the 1 year anniversary is coming soon. Thought I'd plant the seed to maybe get an "Anniversary" lower paying homage to this thread and how far its gone. Not an artist so would leave that to BrickWurX (an original or collage of released lower artworks)?

And it'll easily go another 250 pages with the wailing and gnashing of teeth if the M4A1 lowers aren't perfect.

You gotta lose customers to make customers.

That's just basic economics.

I'm currently working on designing/3D printing a sliding thumbhole stock(grip is 3D printed). I got my SBR stamp back so I am gonna install as soon as I get my design finished.

For the receivers I sanded down the BCA () upper, decided to hire out getting a brushed finish on the lower. Can't tell from my shitty pics but the lower looks great. Going with the bare metal receivers I got some bare parts: Ti mag catch, Ti takedown pins, SS handguard cap holder , and soon to be Ti suppressor.

Ok, I finished re-uppering my Turkey lower and it was previous requested I post a photo of it so here you go....

Specs:

11.5 CL 4150 1/9 HBar carbine gas
PSA Premium BCG
BCM Mod3 large CH
MI drop-in rails
Magpul Pro MBUIS
Leupold VX-R 2-7x duplex firedot reticle in a Bobro mount
MBT-2s trigger
SB3A stabilizing brace
Magpul K2+ grip
SI Fang trigger guard (I may changed this out for my standard Magpul aluminum one)

I built it heavy for serious duty for really bad turkeys.

Should be a good GP setup. At 2x I don't see the front sight post at all. Not even a shadow, probably due to the excellent light gathering of the scope.

With the fire dot on I can work it just like a red dot. It's light too, weighs almost the same as a fixed power prism scope.

Bang for the buck it is a great scope if you don't need a ballistic drop reticle.

I also updated my Space Force with a PSA light weight slant 10.5 upper. I think the rail makes it more spacey-ish. This is the lightest and smoothest shooting AR I own.

I dig it. Don't forget to post picks in the PSA SPACEFORCE-15 build thread for the optic giveaway.

Also a couple questions.

First, did you paint the buffer tube or did you buy it that color?
2nd, is that a KeyMod rail or Mlok?
3rd, are the rail covers rubber or hard plastic?

Reason I am asking, is if the rail covers could be painted the same color as that buffer tube, that would bring the whole thing together, "real nice Clark".
If paintable rail covers are not available (never looked), maybe I can help out you figure something out.

Lemme know, not trying to be pushy.

First, did you paint the buffer tube or did you buy it that color? I bought it like that. It's blue anodized aluminum.
2nd, is that a KeyMod rail or Mlok? It is MLOK.
3rd, are the rail covers rubber or hard plastic? Soft rubber. As someone noted, they're Magpul rail covers.

Reason I am asking, is if the rail covers could be painted the same color as that buffer tube, that would bring the whole thing together, "real nice Clark".
If paintable rail covers are not available (never looked), maybe I can help out you figure something out.  I was going for a certain design aesthetic. Part of it was that the parts that interface with the user would be black. So the brace, grip and rail covers. I wanted the fire controls to be red, so bolt catch, selector, and charging handle. If I could have found a red trigger, I would have done that, but I justified keeping it black as part of the "human interface."

Lemme know, not trying to be pushy. Thanks for the offer to assist.

I like 11.5's. Ideally without the giant front sight and just a low pro block. Either way... It looks good though. Nice build.

I'm realy curious what serial number the SNEK manufacturing is up to now. It's got to be over 5k.

Because the ones that get into clones know what to look for and we know that PSA cannot make the exact copy of a Colt lower.
Nonetheless, im 100% sure it will be better then Aero's attempt.

Would have been cool to add the CAGEC where the Colt pony is though.

Ok... I have low expectations for a couple reasons.

If I’m pessimistic and PSA nails it, then I’m ecstatic. Only problem is no one has ever made a good clone lower.

As Wissota said, Aero’s attempts are insulting. Colt did their typical bullshit with safe/fire and selector stops ground off.

It’s encouraging that PSA said they have access to real-deal M4A1s to compare their clone. That said, few people who aren’t into clones understand the importance of every detail. It’s everything and can be messed up easily. Ask Brownells.

BURRRRTTTTT

I hope PSA pulls it off. I really do. I love that PSA chose to take the ‘risk’ of potentially producing this. I’ve been waiting for it since page 90 of this thread and was checking this thread and my email like every few minutes until late Jan when Josiah said it’d be 4 weeks.
