LOL. Was going to get the 10.5" pistol/sba3 kit. Was 399.99 + free shipping and no Va tax a few months back, up to $449.99 +$34 shipping and Va tax. Now it says labor day deal but it is the same price and no free shipping.
Still a decent price, but I love how PSA just slaps on "Labor Day" or whatever deal/sale on the item for the same price. |

Here's another plug for the Israeli lower. Since it's not imported, the selector markings "should" be able to be non-English.
Getting tired of waiting, how about some movement, please? |

I just saw that the list on 424 has been somewhat updated to show that SpaceRover is soon, which has me low-key excited, because that's the last one I really want. But also, kind of soured as I'm still waiting on ISTAND. I did post in the Industry forum and was told they are in production and shipping as we speak, but it's getting old having to wait even longer.
Do we have an "estimate" on the next lowers to drop, even if for just "Pre-Order, we pay and wait 4-6,7,8, or 10 weeks" status? Or, "Hey, in September we are dropping the following lowers for pre-order". I know I'm gonna catch hell for this one too, but last I recall the PSA MP5 is supposed to be in Q4 of this year. Is 9/1 too early to be asking where the MP5 is? @Palmettostatearmory |

@tlbailey1
The wait time includes the ATF variance and production, why the variance is not done preemptively (so that it would be known that it is approved before the sale) but is up to PSA and the ATF. As I mentioned before I called PSA headquarters about my Minuteman (had been 6 weeks by then) they said that there was an engraving problem and they didn't want a sub-par product going out. "you paid retail you are not getting a blem" was the gist of what the guy said, and "apologies it may be maybe another 2 weeks" that being said I noticed my status to shipped yesterday. As for the MP5; Id say be patient with recent events PSA has probably been swamped with fulfilling panic buys for their products, and save more $$$ to your gun/ammo budget..... you are going to be needing much more 9MM in your coffers |

A restaurant I used to go to had "on sale everyday" on their menu for their hot wings. I asked the waitress one time "if that's the everyday price, how is it on sale"? You would have thought I asked her to prove Newton's laws of motion with differential calculus. For instance, Games Workshop, which I have a long history with. They have an MSRP on everything, which the GW stores are obligated to stick to. They discourage discounts of any kind. Still, there are many retailers who'll knock 10% off of all GW products. They'll call that a sale. Still others, particularly non-brick and mortar stores, will drop another 10-15% off, so they're selling at 75% of MSRP. That's low enough that anybody would consider it a sale. If the retailer just leaves it there, it's money out of their pocket and money staying in your pocket (unless you just buy more to or beyond your original budget, which is what the retailers hope will happen) That's pretty much the definition of 'sale'. The thing that this type of sale destroys is what's called the 'imperative to purchase'. If, say, item X is $250 for the next 48 hours, down from $300 for the last several months, and after that 48 hours, will be $300 again, you have an imperative to purchase the item within that 48 hours. IF that same item is on 'sale' for $250, but it's $250 almost always, only bumping to $270 occasionally for short periods of time to enforce the idea that $250 is a sale. Anybody who wants one isn't in any particular hurry due to price. the thought is, "Hey, if I miss it, it'll go down again soon enough." THEN, when the next price bump is permanent, there's great butt hurt across the land, like we've been experiencing since the last couple of high profile shootings when PSA bumped many of our staples $20-50 and left them there, stripping away the free shipping at the same time. Sure, the new price is still good, but that's not the point. Improper management of pricing is the point, and the negative optics with the customer base. There's a reason my Wall 10 lower is still naked. I watched the base kit go on sale regularly over a couple of years for $349, so I wasn't in any great hurry. I figured I had all the time in the world to nickel my stash up to the required price while buying other, cheaper, things in the interim. Imagine my surprise when, literally the day I finally had the necessary money saved and went to hit the purchase button, they raised the price $20, then another $30, and left it there. |
